Great add-on, I have two questions.

1) I'm having an error with xfire profiles.
When clicking on the xfire logo, I get this error: Bad Request
Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.
Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.

Edit: I just checked, this only happens using IE8. It works fine on FF.

2) Instead of a pop-up window when someone clicks on a gamer icon, can you do an ajax window similar to the one we have?

Same here, the images don't show up in forums, if this isn't fixed, I will have to uninstall this mod.

This mod doesn't have any issue in vB4.0.2!
If you don't see the gamericons pics then you should check your style folder and see where is it!
for example I checked your forum and your custom style folder dir is:
It means that you have to copy the gamericons folder in this dir:

This mod breaks my user profile when I just view it. Everything is mangled, and aligned along the lefthand side. I'm running 4.02. Thoughts?

It would be nice if the Steam community ID profile field would accept a value this value: STEAM_0:1:3371337

If you modified your memberinfo template then you better not use the "New sidebar on right" location because it may break the page layout.
You can't generate steam gamercard using this code.

Is there any version of this mod for v3.8.x ?

Hey in the postbit where it says "Gamer IDs:" How do I remove that so that only the icons will post? Remove it and also remove the space so that it's closer to the avatar? (moved up, the icons)

Hey BC, may want to consider an alternative for Steamcard, they have been very unreliable lately and getting worse all the time, even their homepage has errors and timeouts.

The script that Steam Card uses is online was online before they launched it! I don't know where it is or which one is best to use but I am sure anyone could incorporate it into this mod if they knew how!

I hope this isn't a major request, but I'd rather it be official than hacking it in myself and having to maintain it myself!

Could you add a option for users to hide the GamerCard frame when viewing profiles? Similar to the "Show Avatars" and "Show Signatures" options.

A lot of people on my forums use these options to hide content that might trigger filters or warnings while at work. The postbit is fine since its all local, but the Profile pulls from sites that are using blocked as "Gaming"

Your request need DB change and personally don't like to make any change to the default db for this mod. I think the most advantage of this mod is that it has a minimal code change and doesn't need any manual code.
And I think your request is a little specific and a lot of users don't need it.

No problem, I'll see if I can whip it up myself. When I do, I'll send it your way for consideration. Maybe I can find an elegant way to do it that you'll like.

OK, I edited the mod for you and did it by adding a new custom user field.
You can add one checkbox field for users to hide/show the gamercard!

Add Multiple-Selection Checkbox field with this values and enter the field ID in the GamerCards Block Options:
Title: Hide GamerCards in Profile Sidebar?
Limit Selection: 0
Options: Yes, Hide GamerCards
Field Required: No
Field Editable by User: Yes
Private Field: No
Field Searchable on Members List: No
Show on Members List: No
---
Which page displays this option?: Options: Other

You can find this checkbox in: UserCP->General Settings


This is a quick way and is better than creating a new field to the DB.

What causes your posts to have all the memberinfo displayed on the left instead of across the top of the post?
Is it a setting, mod or template setup?

I installed this on my forum ( http://talkingship.com/forums/ ) but for some reason, when ever I activate it, the profiles can not be seen and I get an error with line 13 of the members.php file but when I turn it off, the profiles go back online. I have 3.8.X

Umm, its a 4.0 mod. Probably all sorts of conflicts trying to install on a 3.8 board.

Yeah, that is what I figured too, but on the top check list, it did show as "Supported" and a check, so it technically should.

I thought "supported" meant there was support from the developer for the version it was written for, and not any other version.
