Nothing is showing is a bit vague, but do yu actually have reputation enabled, do you have points ?

ok,finally after playing for about one hour ,i made it work,
except down when you give to someone's reputation the little picture icon is not there

Any chance of adding the ability to define how many points the stars are worth similar to how you can define the value of the various pips?

That cannot be the current version you are using, you must be trying to use an old copy.

Are there any problems with this mod in the 4.17 Version were the rep display changed.

I think this hack is what I'm searching but I'm not really sur, does the "stars" replace the usual dot or are they just "poping" ?
This is an exemple of what I'm searching to do :
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/From 0 to 50 post, one get a dot each 5 reputations points. Which are shown by a dot1.jpg (just an exemple)
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/Each 50 points all the reputations points transform in a dot2.jpg. That means that if you have 105 reputations points, you will have two "dot2.jpg" and one "dot1.jpg".
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/Each 250 points the dots transform in a dot3.jpg. For instance if you have 305 reputations points you will have one dot3.jpg, one dot2.jpg and one dot1.jpg.

The stars are just a higher level. in total you can use 6 images in my example above you see 4 of the images green 60 purple360 gold1802 and then the first (star)dragon 11111
My example the colors are used 5 times and the stars 3 times you will have to work out the size and value of your custom images to fit as you like but this should do what you are asking.

This seems to work fine on 4.1.7, at least for me.

However, I noticed this mod ignores the various reputation levels set in the main reputation options (instead setting the reputation image alt text to "Reputation"), yet I saw code in one plugin that referenced the undefined level. Is this intended?

Yes, its intended, tho I have considered reversing it at some point.

Glad someone posted the changes required to get this to work since so many don't consider it a waste of time. Going to try to apply those changes on 4.1.7 now.

Will this work on 4.1.7 with the newest version? A shame the modification creator decided to remove a default piece of VB functionality.

I'm noticing the big stars are now on the same line as the small ones regardless of the newline option setting...is this because of 4.1.8?

(The board I run uses custom images for the reputation images...I don't remember what the originals are)

That option [now] only affects the legacy postbit (and memberlist).

I used this on my forum. The reputation bars are showing when i am setting Use Legacy (Vertical) Postbit Template = no.

And when i set this value to yes, the reputation bars dont show. Any idea how to correct this malfunction ?

Most likely you have a customised legacy template, in which case you will need to revert or fix it.
