Only problem is it all displays in page source, so they can get the link anyway

Sure, but there is not many ways around that without causing performance issues. :(
Thanks for reply, I guess only a small percentage know that trick LoL

Hi guys and many thanks Ozzy this fix really work with the 4.2.2 ver. Can be useful also for the others user of vb.org to move this fix in the first page of the mod (where is there the coder link to download the file) So thanks Ozzy and thanks also Delilahs (the coder of this very helpful mod). |

Sorry...
That errors i report in my previous post, thanks to your file Ozzy, are disappeared. But if i see the threads like a guest the links are still there. :( |
Strange, I just tried it on a test site and works as intended.
can it be configured to work on specific forums ?
Too me I have the same important problem like lettebasse.
Is it possible to add this very important feature? Thanks in advance. |
As the developer has not been on in three years, and the mod has not been updated in five years, I doubt it will ever get updated at all.
Thanks Ozzy.
Do you know what mod do the things we ask? |
Any answer?
Actually looking at the code, it seems like you can do it on a per forum basis, you just need to set it in each forum individually.
Sorry but how to do this?
Sure that is really incredible that on Vb.org there isn't a mod like this..
Is also a simple mod. |
Try editing each forum, ACP --> Forums & Moderators --> Forum Manager then edit each forum and look for this setting, Exclude this forum from hiding links from guests, it is set to hide by default.
Sorry but I haven't this option (Exclude this forum from hiding links from guests) in the forum manager.
You need to edit each forum. The options are there.
Wow really! Great. Thanks. :)
I tried with the two xml posted by ozzy47, but with the first I get two errors and with the second xml file the plugin seems to not work (no errors, no link hiding)...
I'm using VB 4.2.2 PL4 |
