To begin please let me say - THANK YOU so MUCH for this AWESOME Add On!!

I have someone helping me try to modify it a bit, but we can't quite get it. What we want to do is to tie uCash with the Helpful Hack:

So, when someone clicks that a post is Helpful, then they get X amount of uCash.

The person who is helping us tried for a few hours... and he says he can't figure it out. He said "I can't find the door..." Please if you could help us to figure out how actions taken within vBulletin are associated with uCash.

i want to change the name of the currency for ucash to something like Cash instead of it'saying Points in a thread. is it possible ? if not please update it next version. thanks

I'm not seeing anything in that regard in my ACP, and no option for such in the uCash control panel area.
Seconded (thirded, I guess). I would love to be able to have it say:

Money: $17,580.00

instead of:

Points: 17,580.00

Ideally, a field option to replace "Points" and a field option for a currency symbol (with an option of none), with an option to either put it in front of or behind the number, which ever way is appropriate for the currency in question.

Phrase 'ucash_points' and templates 'postbit_ucash' and 'memberinfo_ucash'. Both the things you want are easily doable.

I've installed uCash and it seem to be working perfectly. Thanks for this. I do have a question though. I'm trying to get the points postbit to match the others in the list with my style with that nifty little box around it. I have the div code to make it match the others, but I can't find the snippet I need to wrap the code around to accomplish this.

Could you give me some idea of what to look for here?

We are currently using vbcedits but are pushed against a time frame to move to vb4 in which vbcredits will not function.

Is there a conversion script from vbcredits to ucash and is there a addon that allows members to use paypal to donate for credits.

GeekyDesigns is currently a bit busy with some client requests. We'll get it out as soon as we're able to. But there is not an ETA on release at this time.

I have a second question, hopefully someone can pass on some help.

I've turned on the "user referral" for vB and thinking it can integrate easily with the points given by uCash for referrals. At first glance it seems it's not an automated thing but I could be wrong. So my questions are:

1- I know I can email someone a link to a thread and in that email is a referral id attached to the url of the thread. Is there a place to find a referral link to the site in general? Mine is almost exclusively a members forum so almost everyone will have to sign up. I suppose it's more like a mini affiliate program link to my site where the only benefit is to gain points. So the "affiliate" must already be a member.

2- Is there a way to automate the addition of points for referrals via this method or do I just have to check the referrals list and add the points manually?

Just an outline or roadmap is all we need.

I have installed ucash never used it before however I keep getting an error while trying to view a thread or users info.

Thanks for the mod, I'm really liking it.

I made a bit of a mistake when installing it, I added the default value to the stats and run it and now some of my users have massive 40,000 points.

Is there any way to pull that back to that I can start again and give them X2 instead of x10 for eample?

I want to be able to grant a certain amount of points when a user buys a paid subscription or donates using another mod. Any suggestions on how to accomplish this?

I'd also like support for granting points for clicking on certain links too. I would like users to 'vote' for my site on a topsite list and get a certain amount of points (and only grant them points for it once a week/day/hour etc., whatever I choose). No confirmation for their actual vote is necessary, though.

Finally someone suggested having CPAlead.com integration for this. I am VERY interested in this as well, willing to make a donation for this feature and the others I've mentioned.

Please is there any way to get the system to withhold points until a thread or reply has been approved from moderation? So that the uCash isn't given until a post is moderation approved, or that the uCash is deleted if the post or thread is deleted.

I believe it should get removed if the thread is deleted. Matt is currently hard at work on the uShop portion of the addon.

We have changed to put uCash into reputation, TP.user.reputation, as Matt had outlined earlier.

I've been using vBcredits until now (3.8 and going to upgrade to vB4, more then 180K users), is there a converter or a way to save the user credits? are there logs for donations from users? is there a "Admin Donation" option?
does uCash has the option to take fees from donations? (lets say I want to take 5% off any donation and tranfer it to another user \ variable or something)

I think it's in the Phrases area. We switched our to Crypt Cash but it's been awhile, pretty sure it was just a phrase change.

I haven't seen a donation option for Ucash. Not bank or anything like that either.

So how users transfer points from one to another? (donation = points transfer)

You don't. I know, sad. We use it mostly for MMA betting. There are some award add-ons that do work with Ucash and I think it has the donation options. Just wasn't real happy with the rest of the stuff. But I'm just using ucash for vbookie and such. Works great for that but I do wish it had a donation and Bank system built in.

If you have admin rights, you and edit their points but you can't just add 500 points for x. It's more like they have 2500 points and you just edit it to 3000. Not great but it's usuable. We have prediction contests for MMA where the winner gets 10k, 2nd 5k and 3rd gets 2500 crypt cash. So it's just a little math and 3 edits of users cash per MMA event. I had a similar mod for a PHPBB version of the same mod and I could just donate with a Crypt Bookie which made it nice. Can't do it with this.
