You must not have picked up the fix that I provided for this last week. If you will download the installation package, extract all the files out, and copy the file dto_garage.php from the Upload directory in the package to your forums directory that should resolve the problem.

Do I understand you correctly, what I have to use the old DTO Garage Postbit Pop-up Menu and only reupload the dto_garage.php file?

No. The issue with the postbit link was resolved with an updated plugin that I mentioned in the previous page of posts. The issue with the insert SQL error was an issue that was resolved last week with an update to the file dto_garage.php. This file was included in package that is attached to the opening post in this thread.

To insure you are running the most current versions do the following:

1. download the installation package from the master post in this thread
2. extract all the files from the package
3. copy ONLY the file Upload/dto_garage.php to your forums directory
4. Follow the directions in this post to download and install the plugin update

Once you have done the above and verified that everything is working correctly please reply to this thread of contact me via PM. I've been waiting for confirmation from those having the postbit link issue that the problem has been resolved. If I can get that I will repackage everything so that we have one package with all the patches.

On my site the DTO Garage copyright is showing up at the top of my site below my custom header.

I have the latest vbadadvanced, VB and VBseo Installed.

What tag can I put in my footer to get the copyright to appear there Also is the copyright removed on the paid version of the software

I just visited your site and don't see any reference to Garage. I suspect that because of the problem you have the product disabled right now.

The copyright it should normally appear at the bottom of the page near your vBa and vBSEO copyrights. If you can contact me via PM I'll be happy to work with you to get this resolved.

Our paid version also includes the copyright. We wanted to roll out the product, get people using it, and, based on feedback, determine what other features should be included. If there is sufficient demand for a branding free version we'll definitely consider offering that as an additional option for our products.

yes I have turned it off for the moment...

Is there a chance to reduce the Copyright to for expample:
DTO Garage by Drive Thru Online, Inc. ? Or somethink like that?

We are just launching our products so the current copyright will help build search engine relevance for our company and products insuring that we can develop enough sales to continue developing our current products and add additional plugins in the future. Given that this is a free version I would request that the copyright be preserved.

In the future, if there is demand, we will offer branding free options for our paid products.

How difficult is it to move from teh free version to the Plus version if I want to make the leap?

How can I get the garage link show in a users post bit? Or is this not an option for this version?

Its a simple upgrade and all of your data is preserved. The only thing you need to do after upgrading is set up usergroup permissions pertaining to which groups have garages and how many garages are included for each usergroup.

Nope installed and love it. Perfect for one of my sites and more then likely will be purchasing the Pro at some point and prob even a second plus some of oyur other stuff :) Just need some time to get all the ducks in a row.

This error is caused by "Guest" posts in threads when we were attempting to build the postbit. I've resolved this for a couple of members with a patch and will be releasing Garage 1.1.1 hopefully later today after we've run in through our testing process. This release will resolve the issues found with the first public release. When ready I'll update this thread and send out a notification to everyone who has it marked installed.

It would be very cool if a very small set of thumbnails say 45x30 could be included per vehicle in the garage in the postbit. The area would be very small but the images still enticing to garner clicks.

With DTO Garage there would only be one image displayed so it would probably be doable. For Garage Plus it would really depend on how many garages per usergroup were allowed. Since there isn't an upper limit on what is support this could cause layout problems. Thoughts on how this might be displayed and where in the postbit versus postbit_legacy?

Also, in Garage Plus the navbar menu includes browse and search options which make all garages a bit more prominent to all those visiting the site.

I get a blank page when I try to add an image from the edit vehicle page. How can I fix it?

Can you provide a step by step on how you encounter this issue? If you are just clicking on an Add Image link and immediately getting a white page do you have the vBulletin Option Use 'vBMenu' DHTML Popup Menus? set to Yes? This option is found under Style & Language Settings.

How soon can we see a widget that allows us to present random "Garage Images" on our sites to our choosing? Something similar to "All Albums"?

Tell me what you are thinking about and how you would like it to work if provided. Would this be in the context of a vBadvanced module or would it be something that wouldn't require vBadvanced. If the latter, be sure to include where you would want to see this display shown, how many images you would like to see, size of images, and any other controls you can think of.

Hello, first I want to say that this is a great add-on for our swedish mini cooper forum. Im testing it right now and want to evaluate it some more before buying the plus version.

Back to the subject, I would love to see this as well... for me an vBadvanced module would be prefered. I am using the "vBAdvanced Module: Latest Album Pictures" right now that does the same thing but for the album pictures.

Translation is also high on the priority list for me, but you are working on this I have seen.

Interesting. My business originally got started back in 2002 also for the MINI. I built and ran NorthAmericanMotoring.com before selling it in early 2008. All of the products we've been working on spawned out of the things I needed to grow that site but there weren't solutions for.

I'm very familiar with vBadvanced and have done a lot of development with it over the years. I've already been playing with a prototype of a random garage module on my machine and have figured out how to implement settings for it that the site owner can easily manage. I'm currently planning to include this in the next release of Garage Plus sometime in the August timeframe. If you upgrade to Garage Plus let me know if you would be interested in Beta testing this when I have the module ready.
