The Musicbox Setting Editor /music.php?do=editsettings does not update my settings after a fresh installation.

My forum is installed on domain root, and I have checked all files/folders and CHMOD 777 correctly.

Any help?

The old buttons are replaced by the new instant guide. It should has every information you need to post a proper media link.

Though your second URL is the correct one SSG.D, let me know if you have found that feature in the ss above.

I got a problem with admin stuff. I changed so another group got the admin menu etc. But when i add my self to the group it wont show me the admin menu in de musicbox :(

I cant change it back and im 100% sure i did put in the right admin ID.

Any idea how to fix this?

This step will take care of the situation, just follow loosely :)

The musicbox has the built in option to define admin group. For the First time and only first time you need to do this if your default admin group is not 6.
Download the DnPMusicbox_Settings.php from your server, open and find
Change 6 to your admin group id. Save and reupload to your server. From now on you can use the Configurations editor and never have to repeat this step again. Unless you change the admin group again .

Minor mistake, not sure if it's been mentioned: "Album" in the ACP is typed "ALbum".

Also, you should go through it with IE... not everything shows up correctly. (Try uploading a song and you'll see.)

Also, Tried 4 youtube videos, and only 2 will upload. I don't know what the issue is since i did all 4 the same. Tried a myspace video and it accepted it, but won't play.

- Yes i have found a smalll checkbug on IE 8 though it worked on IE 7. +_+ darn it every IE version has random errors.

Did you have this option cache_mainpage turned on ? DnPMusicbox_Settings.php is CHMOD 777 ?

That means you must click Send sample to URL box, then the code at the end.

Ok i just found out what the problem is. Can you change that you dont have too us the "Primary Usergroup" so they got admin menu on the musicbox.

I prefer to us "Additional Usergroups".

You'll see that in next version :)

What settings did you try to change?

Doesnt work for me on my site I tested it on my home server and I got nothing on the install page. I can see all the code etc... is there something that nees to be installed in order for it to work?

It requires vBulletin forum and PHP support server.

Yes it is, and i'll quote it straight from the Configurations page ;)

If you prefer a backup file to be automatically created every time you save, then make CHMOD 777 for the folder tmp as well.

I had another question though, and this one I actually looked to see if I could find a PHRASE or if it was in the CODE and since I am not expert I was not able to find it.

-In the 'Add Category' there is a 'Description' box that allows you to only put a certain amount of TEXT in it. I was wondering if you can tell me how I can make the allowed text MORE.

PS. Another question: I was testing and added a YouTube video and it said when I hit the PLAY arrow, "Embedding disabled by request." That means that YouTube has stopped letting us use their videos?

- Last answer for "Embedding disabled by request." , some video clips from youtube is not allowed to embed any else where. Take a look of a clip that is not able to be embedded.

In this case, you can look for the clip on other services such as dailymotion, veoh, etc..because the musicbox supports those too!

No idea what was wrong ;) it seems like you have fixed it before I find out what's wrong.

The default administrator group is 6. Any other group different than this will be considered as minor groups. If your administrator account belongs to a different group, you need to change this setting. Go ahead and read the F.A.Q question number 8 for instruction.
