It is filled out, adsense revenue sharing also.

the front page is ok with adsense, it is the thread urls that are showing the error.

Problem solved, I was entering the name of the new user profile field instead of the field number.

I installed Advanced Google AdSense [6.0] but it didn't work.

Menu appears at the left side but at the right side, no content. Of course ! uploaded the xml file. :)

I installed version 6 yesterday with vb 3.82. Seems to work fine. No errors, no bugs so far. It was a fresh installation, no upgrade.

I am new to adsense and all the other affiliate programs. As far as I can see, Google adsense is not the best choice to maxmize income. Since there are so many different affiliate-programs out there, I wanted to test several ones. My questions are now:

The boxes of this Mod within the ACP for the google adsense code, do they work also with other affiliates? Do they also have only numbers to type in? If not, how to use it in this Mod?

Which affiliate programs would you recommend?

Which of these recommended are compatible with this Mod here? I would like to try them all out.

If I click in my vb instalation on thevideos, section, no banners are showing up. What do I need to do that the banners via this Ain Mod also show up there in the Video section?

Still expect a July 25 release for update???

FYI

I ended up in hardcoding the Google adsense code into the template of the Video hack.

Feature request:

Differentiate usergroups not only between seeing all ads or none.

It would be better to split the appearance of ads more sophisticated for each group:

1. guests (or non-logged in): Seeing all ads and within the threads every 2nd posting an ad

2. logged in users: Seeing only in ACP specified ads outside of the threads and additional within the threads only every 5th posting an ad

3. Premium members: Seeing none or only one ad in the header

help. I tried to install something else on the board and started getting error messages about a security token. I uninstalled that mod.. but now this adsense mod is not working and neither is another one. I uninstalled the adsense mod, reinstalled but nothing shows up.

Please somebody Help otherwise my user will kill me

Is there a line of code that could be placed in custom vb pages so that the ads would display? Is that where the variables [$ain_leaderboard] etc would be used? EDIT - FIGURED THIS ONE OUT ;)

Also, how exactly does the rotate ads work? What if I have leaderboards, banners, and squares set up in different locations, yet I only want to have banners rotate? Doesnt seem to be enough control currently to prevent leaderboards from rotating with smaller size ads...

Displaying more than 3 slots on page is against Google TOS.So special care is been taking while using this mod to prevent more than 3 been displayed!

I installed the mod on my forum. Problem is on the forum display I see one blank row at the beginning and one at the end.

Any solution to get rid of those?

One question though .
How can I place an add in the footer ? Plus I'd have to disable one of the others to only have 3, correct ?

with v7.0 all ads in showthread page will be changed.. so choose where you want to put them by yourself or choose them from avialable options offered by this mod

fmntprsv, I guess this will not work in that location even with rotate option

1. you can do it by yourself with v7.0 if you want a table or a div or a specific condition for your ad, you can do it. for example ads for guests only: we will put in navbar:

where xx is the id of your ad

2. you can add million custom code with 7.0 but it's will need your effort to change the id every time you need to change it.

3. I think this is somehow hard to do it right now, because this will need option for each thread (may you want to put ad under the 10th post in thread 124 but you don't in thread 154) :)

hi, this mod is for google adsense only but if you want to rotate adsnese with other? yes you can up to 2 or 3 .. search for similar adsense program you will find too much there but as my experince Adbrite is the best alternative.

you mean ads not shown in vedio.php page? if so, then sure they will not showed there because that mod use different pages that forum sections. but how about try the new version 7.0 to add variables ad in template that will show them is Video-Directory Remixed. try it and let me know if it's work or not. thank you

don't use more than 1 ad in a page. this mod is help you to show ads in your forum but it's can't help you to make more profit or tell people to click.. this against google law.. update to v7.0 :)

there are no form in v6.0 to be a security token in this mod. check the compatibilty of the other stuff you are trying to install and good luck

yes there are no control for rotate ads even in v7.0 I will try to make it esay in next version

update to v7.0 no more 3 ads show up in a page, but actually it's your responsibility to have 3 ads in a page.. this mod is give you options so you are the one - I mean anyone who use this mod - who decide what ads and how many! good luck :)

Doesnt appear to be working. Upgraded from 6 to 7 and when I try to add a new ad unit, so my colors match again, clicking "save" doesn't add it to the list nor assign it an ID. Now I am displaying default google ads and cannot seem to change the colors...
