The skin looks great. However, on the forum home page, the forums are hanging over the border (see attached)

But after clicking into a sub-forum, it looks perfect. any ideas?

I will type here until someone answer

I am so sorry to hear that you won't be updating this style for the next version of vBulletin, and I share your sadness. The people who removed the credits probably could have at least asked you before they did so.

Bobbrown 06-28-2009 03:52 PM

Eleeist 06-28-2009 07:18 PM

I would like to know the same thing. I really love this skin and would like to use it as my default.

Mrs.Winters 07-15-2009 11:19 PM

Ok, I have this installed and I'm just going to go ahead and keep the sidebar, but I need someone, anyone, to explain exactly how to get the avatar images to show up in the sidebar.

to Show avatar in your left sidebar like demo, Import product included in folder Add-On.
I can see it's an xml file when I open the folder, but where EXACTLY do I import and upload it to? I'm a little confused here. I know it is something simple, of course, but I'm not getting it done without some help. Thanks.

Edit: Never mind. *duh* Figured it out!
ACP > Plugins & Products > Manage Products > [Add/Import Product] > browse to find xml > click Import

Not working at all for me. None of the images are showing up..
You can see it at: www.Bibbo.org
and changing it to the HiO skin...

I had the same problem and figured it out.

Admin CP> Styles & Templates> Style Manager> HiO > All Style Options> Image Paths>

Now if you look into each field under image paths section and are just seeing the following:

styles/lightskin/buttons
styles/lightskin/statusicon
and so on, so forth,

Add:

PHP Code:

http://www.bibbo.org/forum/images/

into each field.

For example, change:

styles/lightskin/buttons

to

PHP Code:

http://www.bibbo.org/forum/images/styles/lightskin/buttons

Then scroll down to Replacement variables at the very bottom. Delete whatever is in that field and paste:
PHP Code:

http://www.bibbo.org/forum/images/styles/lightskin/layout

I'm looking to either remove or fix the avatar display on the home page like the demo.

I have downloaded the add on and still do not get an avatar to display like demo.

Any thoughts on how to remove or fix would be great.

qatari12 08-28-2009 02:28 AM

cool.. loved it :D

Hi

I am totally a newbie and stumbling my way through starting a forum.
I love your style - it is my favourite!
Can you tell me what is the difference between fixed and fluid?
Is your style fixed only?
Is it easy to install for someone not very computer literate?

Thanks
jamhind:confused:

Halfhidden 09-13-2009 08:50 PM

@ jamhind
A fluid version expands to the size of your monitor whereas a fixed style will only ever show that one size. The problem with fixed styles is that people viewing on a wide screen monitor will see the forum in the middle with a large boarder.
Fluid styles are much more time consuming to create.

It's really easy to install.
Download the style and unzip
Go to admincp (in VBulletin)>style and templates>Download/upload styles and click on the browse button in the import style section.
Now browse for the style you downloaded on your computer and open it up. Now look for the folder "XML" and upload the file inside called hio-style-380.xml
You may need to click on the button Ignore style version if you get an error about versions.

now open the Hio folder on your computer and upload the folder called styles to your forum root.
That's it. It should be working!:D
The principle is the same for most styles

Hope you don't mind me replying to this request haothiencz

Alright, my background isn't loading, and before I have modified any of the pictures it's coming up as VietVB (no problem with that I can edit it but I just figured it would say HIO Style like in the picture).

Anyways, what should I do to get the background image to load? I have checked that it's uploaded.

Ah, I found the solution.
In style's XML file, find this one :
Code:

<div class="avatar" style="padding: 50px 0px 0px 0px;" align="center">
This should be without style="padding: 50px 0px 0px 0px;"
It now works fine for me.

Hmm..
It may work with full height avatars, not for small ones...

I did this but changed the 50px to 10px and it fits now with the suggested avatar size

ie

Code:

<div class="avatar" style="padding: 10px 0px 0px 0px;" align="center">
