Script works for some members, but for some strange reason, some spammers are able to bypass it (i believe particularly xrumer users)

I think it means exactly what it sounds like, both on both cases...

unregistered user got message: "To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 0 or greater. You currently have 0 posts."

I think something goes wrong with this option :)

Any chance of getting an option to block users from posting links in their sig until they have a minimum post count? Seems like a new type of spammer makes two or three posts then changes their sig to link to their web page... their posts are somewhat on topic so hard to weed them out before they make the sig change.

Really, mine were clickable... :confused: Is there a separate location for disabling links in sigs?

I did test it but could only get sigs to stop working.

Found a typo and a problem.
Typo: when clicking on the product in the Admincp, it's linked to the 3.7 version of this mod instead of the 3.8 version.

Problem: First time all went well, second time I can't get the global options anymore. Just saw it once. Did not install any other mods after this mod. Just uninstalled this and installed it again (using overwrite=yes).
When I click on the option "For All Existing Forums" it points to this:

Don't ask me why, but on my forums it opens the smilie list under faq's.
How can this be fixed?

the post count permissions in forum manager not showing anymore... on 4.4 version vb 3.8.4

i can acesss all forums option via vb option -> cyb- adva post count options... it was there before when we first set permissions....

EDIT : i sorted it out.. vboptimise was causing CAPBOPC , v3Arcade, options in forum manager edit to disappear.. uninstalled it as its not giving obvious difference

Pity that support is not good on this mod. Almost a month without an answer. But hey, it's free so I won't be too mad.:D
Anyway, found the fix for my problem in post #136. I had not enabled the "enable whole hack" option.
But IMHO this is still a bug if the hack is not enabled, that it points to the smilies page, it should not do that. So maybe this can be fixed in the future.

Big problems, seems not to work on 3.8.5.

I setup a forum like this:
Minimum post count user must have to be able to create new threads 5
Minimum post count user must have to be able to reply to threads 5

Yesterday a new user with postcount 0 posted a thread in that forum.

The only excluded usergroups are 5 and 6 which are Supermods and Admins.

How can this happen?

Probably it does but you can better test it.

My problem is also over, it only works when the "view forum/thread" restrictions are set to yes, even if you don't need them.
Same goes for the enable whole mod option.
Pitty support is so low on this mod.

If I install this mod on my 3.8.1 site, can I uninstall it easily or does it leave stuff behind, like extra tables or extra columns in the db? I've always wondered this on these types of mods.

As far as I know this mod will remove everything, also the extra tables. Not all mods do that, but many or even maybe most which make extra tables, do.
However, you manually have to remove the download directory and the files you place within there.

You need to have set -everything- to YES (and then save first) where you want to use the "for all existing forums" option.
If there is one of them set to NO and you use the all forum option, you will get to the smilies page.
Otherwise put everything to yes, save and then try the "for all existing forums" option and you will see that I'm correct.:)

Normally Cybs hacks are great, but this a bit lazy work I guess because it should be rather easy to give an error notice instead of redirecting to the smilies page.

I'm still getting redirected to the smiles page .. never mind !

If every option is set to YES and you saved it, and afterwards you still get to the smilies page, probably another mod is conflicting.
That's more difficult to find

But it's a pity there is so little support on this mod, especially with this issue.

Find the phrase, edit it or add a "translation" and use HTML code to change it as you want...

You might change it to for example:

To make it red.

You can find the phrase by searching for it in Admin CP-> Languages and Phrases -> Search in Phrases.
