Got 1 or 2 messages regarding the best answer option showing for more than just the thread browser and admin. Remember to just overwrite the product for this fix, as it was addressed in the last update ;)

When I click, "Mark As Best Answer", I get this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function vbplaza_quick_add_points() in /home/thewildz/public_html/misc.php(97) : eval()'d code on line 920

Huh? What is interfering? Please help.

it think there is a bug whenever you select yes for integrate with vbplaza....

can you provide the fix plz...

and one more thing!
does your premium modification has the same problem???

Will it say how many best answers you have in the postbit, postbit_legacy, and in the profile.

example: best answers: 20

Sort of like the thanks mod.

Is this something your looking to add?

Ok i took me allot of time to read everything just so I dont post the same question that others already did. IM REALLY INTERESTED ON THIS.

I have SMF for a long time and I paid a programmer like 500$ to do something similar and it sucked so bad i had to trow the whole forum away. Now i have Vbulletin and if this works correct i will buy it right now. My question is since im actually new to Vbulletin i like to integrate this with a point system. I have read some say vplaza and ther vcredits. Since i dont know any of them. Which should i buy to use it with this mod? Is vplaza or vcredits better? I look of course functions, but ratter as well security and stable. Also if i buy this product and then integrate with a point system and something happens, is there any kind of support? Like could i pay you for example to fix my problem?

Hm, what kind of bug? Also, there are no recorded issues with the premium version atm ;) For more info, feel free to check out the site. There's also a demo available :)

vbplaza and vbcredits are more like a credits system, where vbexperience is more like a points system.

If you'd like a free version, vbcredits would be your answer. They both have a paid version as well. However, I've found the people who use each to be pretty evenly-distributed for the most part, so i guess it all comes down to which benefits you :p The light version supports vbplaza atm, the premium supports both ;)

i have problem, i can select the post to be the best answer and its showing as Answered, but the best post choosed is not showing after first post

there is no "Best Answer - Posted by Gio~Logist" part showing like in this thread http://www.giologist.com/vb/showthread.php?t=45



i have customizable showthread and postbit template before, not default template anymore, maybe thats what causing it?

Hm, not sure what you mean. What areas of this would you like to limit and for what purpose? Just trying to see if it's something worth including in the general release or a matter of you just needing further customization.

Great mod, paid for the Premium version.

Question, is there any documentation on how to re-style components?

For example. I don't like the way the best answer post is displayed after it's been selected. Where do I play with that?

Also, I want to create a button for "Mark As Best Answer" instead of the text link. Where do I change the code?

And last, the "Answered / Unanswered" prefixes are only being displayed when viewing the forumdisplay of the selected forum. How do you change it so that these prefixes show up when people search, specifically when using the "Todays New Posts" search.

Someone here replied before that he made some changes to his mod. I think it was a 4x4 jeep forum. I bought the paid version but i like what that guy did with the nice icons of posts that are answered.

i request one feature, i hope it can be realized in future paid release, like in the pm :

Top Helpers on forumdisplay will showing Top helpers in each forum, not Top helpers in all forum, thats why i purchase premium version

please can you make little edit just for that, i really need it to make Professional people in this category , thats how looks like yahoo answer

I'm highly considering buying the premium version for this...but I would like the option to allow certain usergroups the ability to choose "best answer", sort of like at yahoo. Once you reach Level 2 you are allowed to choose best answers. I see you have "Allow users to choose best answer" but I see nothing in the usergroup, user options, or vb options and I have only seen it working for admins... Maybe I'm looking in the wrong spot...?

And I would like to see integration with vBexperience as I'm using that on my largest forum (since vBCredits is taking way to long to develop their addons)...

I've installed the lite version on my board but lacks all the features I would really like to have so if my suggestions are added, I'll be sure to purchase the premium version.

Both are great suggestions. Currently, only the admin and thread starter can choose the answer. However, i can see the need to allow others to do so as well (based on usergroups). This feature will be added ;) As for integration with vbexperience, i will look into that as well :up:
