Is there a way to enable this only for certain styles?

My categories aren't showing total # of posts and threads. Not sure what's going on.
My setup: Test Forum (category) => Category 1 (category) ==> Forum 1 (forum) ==> Forum 2 (forum) => Category 2 (forum) Category 2 shows total # of posts and threads but Category 1 doesn't. |

Version 1.5.1 Changes (includes Version 1.5.0 Changes)

I have upgraded and I have a small estetical problem:
I have selected to show 2 columns and the table is not splitting the entire space in 2 but is saving a small space on the right side like is having another column or the subforum box is 70% out of the outer box table. If you select more columns than 2 the same small space (aprox 70% of the outher table) is divided in columns and the rest of space is empty. You cans see here what I am talking about Before it use to have fluid settings for the table (like I am using a wide monitor and I had only 2 columns very wide. Now I have 2 columns fixed and empty space on right side. I have trimmed the names of the subforums barely to fit the previous setup with 2 columns. If the space is smaller it looks funny. |

Ups , dumm me ...
Many thanks , issue solved all is working like a charm. |
Hi there,
thanks for the updates. I have a little a problem after upgrading from 1.4.1 to 1.5.1 1.5.1 doesn't overwrite 1.4.1 but installs beside it? and yeah, both are Sorky02 versions! how come? any idea about this? |
Quote:
I just loaded 1.4.1 and them 1.5.1 went straight over it - no problems... I know you'll have fixed it by simply removing the old one (after copying the settings), but if you can work out a reliable sequence that reproduces the problem, I'll be glad to check it out. |
i have cyb subforum installed already. will sorky 1.5 overwrite it automatically or do i need a manual uninstall and then install sorky1.5?
|
Also Sorky, I am not too much familiar technical talk. please can you specify from where I can enable this hack to follow the style colors and not the same colors for every style?
|

Not sure how they would interact (they should not both be needed) so you can simply disable the other Mod rather than removing it. That way you can try mine. |
yes sir i have disabled it and now am trying yours:)
but please guide me how to make it adopt the color for each style :) appreciate that. |
One more thing sorky, you may wanna upgrade that in Cyb Subforums, infront of each subforum, it shows in the brackets how many threads are there in the subforum along with number of posts in there like:
Forum A --Subforum 1 (23/159) --Subforum 2 (45/450) so on and so forth. At least I liked that a lot and would want this to happen in sorky 1.5 as well. |
ok my bad, didnt read it through. there is an option for showing threads/posts
sorry |

Could do more with this if by doing some minor work on the Project Tools add-on itself, but I'll need to raise that with the creator. |
Newbie here, but how do I get a sub forum to show on the home page??

Question... I found the link to this mod over here out of Cyb's Mod and since theres very little chance I might get an answer there I figured since this software has bit more flexibility that I might ask the same question here and possibly switch...
So here it is... On Cyb's demo site he has the column's arranged however to the right where it shows the most recent thread it shows multiple from the subforums... Is there something in the Vbulletin software that turns this on or is it another mod the works in conjunction with these forum managers... I will probibly upgrade to Sorky's mod as it seems to get more support... Thanks so much for any help or direction... |

You are welcome to use his or mine, whatever makes you happy, makes me happy. In regards to the multiple last posts, simply checking out all CYBs other mods would reveal this : https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=177946 Enjoy |
Thanks Sorky I appreciate the leg work on that... I'm going to switch to yours my site owner is a bit more picky and the improvements you've made will certainly make my job easier working with him... No doubt Cyb does some great work but when it comes to Q&A being able to communicate with the MOD's author is a major consideration on what I install...
Thanks So much... |
Quick question, why does my font size get bigger for forum subtitles when I enable the mod? How do I keep it at its current size?
|

I set some defaults, just adjust or even remove them if you wish |
Gotta chime in with a big THANK YOU with the quick clarification via PM. For anyone having trouble getting this to just plain work, make sure your settings in ACP -> Forum Listings Display Options are:
Depth of Forums - Forum Home: 1 Depth of Forums - Forum Display: 1 Depth of Sub-Forums: 1 Very much appreciate the help! James and Susan |
Hello, is it possible to display the last post (title, date, and author info) under the subforum title?
|

I was hoping to also display the last post information under the subforum title. Still, works great and was easy to install.
Thank you for the plugin! |

PS : Please click Mark as Installed ;) |
Is this mod 3.8 compatible ?
