Thanks. Any idea what happened?

Nothing, just the modified version of the template wasn't correctly modified, we didn't see also any reason to modify the template since the product is feature rich & support all available features & more :). We just reverted the template to it's default state.

You can delete the temp admin now.

TsirhCitna 07-28-2008 07:51 PM

I don't remember editing the template though. Weird.

I've done exactly what you said, including editing the compressed js file, and checking the permissions, but i can't add the thread tools management. What might be the problem please?

You can't ..?
Have you uploaded the required files attached with the product ? have you enabled the this option from AdminCP settings ? If "yes" & "yes" then please provide a demo for your problem.

Yes i've done it all.
Everything works except for the thread tools management.

I'm not having any luck seeing options with the quick reply.

Attached is a screenshot of the options I have chosen and what we see in the quick reply box. We are missing the smilies and buttons.

I have pm'd links and logins to you.

Thanks for your help.

ZeroHour 08-18-2008 10:43 PM

Is there anyway to disable this per theme?
I have a mobile skin where its appearing.

Sorry, but we can't login to your board. All info seems to be wrong, also the testing thread seems to be deleted.

At this moment there is no way to do this by default. But you can do it through code edit (Just add if expression to prevent activating this product in needed stypes).
We may include this feature in a future update.

ZeroHour 08-21-2008 10:27 PM

For those wanting to disable it for a style create a new plugin with the hook "style_fetch" and put this in it:
Code:

if ($styleid=="{your styles id}") {
$vbulletin->options['phpkd_aqr_active'] = 0;
}

I believe this just means that the download is in a .zip format so it just has to be extracted so you can load up the folders.

This site is not using it but it is very cool. PM me if you want some help, I'll try to talk you through it for free. :up:

bjf2k 10-23-2008 12:36 PM

installed, but Smiliebox Below Editor NOT working

cheesegrits 10-23-2008 05:08 PM

Needed to add Thread Management to my QR, found this mod with 30 seconds of searching vborg.

Installed and working perfectly on 3.7.3PL1 (including "smilies below"). Took less than 5 minutes to install (after 10 minutes reading the thread, of course!).

Five Stars.

Thank you for this excellent mod, and for the level of support evidenced by reading this thread. I wish all mods and their authors were like this.

I've just been informed (and confirmed) that this add-on breaks the layout in Opera.

The Quick Reply box gets shifted far to the left.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

sherwood 11-08-2008 01:14 PM

Thanks it works great with vb 3.8 beta 2.

If you want to know how to get the xml to be imported

open it up in notepad or dreamweaver and find
Code:

<dependency dependencytype="vbulletin" minversion="3.7.0" maxversion="3.7.99" />
and replace it with
Code:

<dependency dependencytype="vbulletin" minversion="3.7.0" maxversion="3.8.99" />

Atlantean 11-09-2008 02:06 PM

I installed this mod a while back but could not get these to work

Control:
* AdminCP -> vBulletin options -> Advanced Quick Reply Settings
* AdminCP -> Forums & Moderators -> Forum Manager -> Select Forum -> Enable / Disable Features -> Can use 'Advanced Quick Reply' (On/Off)
* AdminCP -> Usergroups -> Usergroup Manager -> Select Usergroup -> Post / Thread Permissions -> Can use 'Advanced Quick Reply' (Yes/No)

I am now considering upgrading but the upgrade instructions say * Un-do any previous file edits done for this product (It's better to restore the default vBulletin files).

Which files do I have to restore? I am using VB 3.7.4

I'm getting reports from 64 bit Vista users running IE7 that when they post their QR's, the screen doesn't refresh and they get an 'object expected' JS error. If they reload the page, their reply has actually been posted.

Any ideas? I don't have a Vista box to test with, and it seems to work fine with IE6, 7 and 8 on XP. Also works fine with FF 2 and 3, and Chrome.

wow! i have the same problem here, but in fact i think its a litle different:

this problem seems to occur randomly... but now I got a firefox error:

phpkd_aqr is not defined

I know that this function is included at phpkd_aqr.js... but for some reason I think that javascript isnt included sporadically

it happens with internet explorer and firefox users.. I am on vista x64, but i think it happens with other OS too

I will try to help fixing the problem

regards

I installed this mod not to long ago. It came up fine on my screen, on 2 browsers, on two different PC's.

Apparently it was not turned on for other users. I checked all the permissions outlined on this mod including the Access Masks to no avail.

One of my users found they had to change.

I changed the

Vbulletin Options ->Message Posting Interface Options ->Enable Clickable Message Formatting Controls ->Options ->Quick Reply<and I changed option to> -> Enable Standard Controls
But not sure if it worked globally.

Any idea why this isn't being activated globally through the mod without the users having to activate it?

Running 3.7.4

Here it seems to do :)

Just regenerate all your templates after you did the upgrade process and reverted or edited outdated templates. :)

michi123 01-18-2009 02:27 PM
