Took me a few weeks to get approved too. Then I realized you have to specify if you're using a subdomain, so I had to delete it and submit mine again. And now we wait. :p

It will be interesting what their price model will be... I'd be surprised if it were not related to usage or page views. They better keep it cheap or no matter how cool it is, it doesn't do a whole more (IMO) than Google Analytics, and analytics is free. They would be in trouble if Google created a real time interface.

CThiessen 06-06-2008 08:14 AM

Hi,
I get my detail now after a couple of weeks.
Now I wait for the first stats.

I took a look in Source of my Forum:
Quote:

<script type="text/javascript">
woopra_id = 'xxx';
var woopra_visitor = new Array();
woopra_visitor['name'] = 'xxx';
woopra_visitor['avatar'] = '';
woopra_visitor['email'] = 'xxx';

</script>
<script src="http://static.woopra.com/js/woopra.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
Ar that the Information that the plug in collect an hand over to woopra?
Name - Ok
avatar - not necessary
email - ??? I don't link to share that information, this should be stay secret in my Database.

Is there a Way to disable that?

Thanks
Christian

Can anyone please provide the download for the clientscript file that the mod asks for in order to use the local script...

slmoney 06-06-2008 04:22 PM

WOW! This is amazing! I followed the directions on the website..and downloaded the desktop software to view the stats... oh my god that is awesome! IMO - blows google away!

woostar 06-07-2008 11:08 AM

Great job Shane :)

Only problem (and is not one of the product) is you only get 10,000 page views a day while in beta. I was sitting feeling like I was in a Nasa control room and then after an hour it died :(

Can't wait for it to come out of beta as it's not as fun for big boards at the mo.

Mrdby 06-07-2008 12:47 PM

installed...waiting on my site for approval.

Just take it out of the woopra_javascript template.

Right now download it from the static URL, and save it in your clientscript folder with the name I gave it. That should do it.

Yeah. I know, but that's why I marked it Beta. :(

I got this working locally and it is much faster.... Amazing stats really... I am waiting for my wordpress blog to get approved next!

Mrdby 06-09-2008 12:16 AM

ok i got approved. Now what? Do I add the code they gave me to my site or something?

Mrdby 06-09-2008 09:35 AM

im still lost

Caddyman 06-09-2008 10:11 AM

add the code, add the plugin, d/l the app onto your PC and login

fwiw, i removed it, can make page loads lag.....this is woopra, not this plugin, this plugin is great.

Ideal Web Tech 06-09-2008 10:16 AM

Woopra is full of bugs in the program itself. I have been using it for a few days now and it does seem buggy to me and the end program seems to have load issues as well as is reported on their forums along with quite a list of other problems. Such as inaccurate stats tracking being reported a few users who were testing it out. As well as it losing track of tagged members. I think theres potential here hopefully the next release from the woopra team will get things running better. Let me state this to make sure there are no misunderstandings. The problems are not in this plugin but on woopra's side.

TsirhCitna 06-09-2008 07:23 PM

The way the code is place at the beginning of the body instead of at the end makes the pages lag a little between when the navbar loads and the rest of the page. How can I move it?

Mrdby 06-09-2008 09:55 PM

anybody?

Mrdby 06-10-2008 12:55 AM

<script type="text/javascript">
var woopra_id = '2508348429';
</script>
<script src="http://static.woopra.com/js/woopra.js"></script>

so where do i add this?

Mrdby 06-10-2008 01:28 AM

its working..I SWEAR!! this is the best!!! amazing!!!!!!!

kollam003 06-10-2008 01:54 AM

Gersfan 06-11-2008 11:54 AM

What's going on here?

I updated my woopra this morning and after the update I cannot log into my website, when I go to login down the bottom the status bar says:

Transfering Data from engine9.woopra.com
then
Waiting for engine9.woopra.com

It doesn't go anywhere, I've left it loading for 5 mins..

Confussed!

Thanks,

rc1320 06-11-2008 07:21 PM

I've placed the file in the xml folder, uploaded the product, input my side ID. Is there anyway to verify its running on my site? I am not seeing any data on woopra screen and its been about 12 hours.

FYI: the Options page says the following. It should be clientscript, not clientscripts, no?

Latest version still has this spelling/path error.

that's my concern as well. Anyone with a medium to high traffic forum able to comment on the server load impact?

It looks great, though. I'd be willing to give it a whirl.

mark|3 06-25-2008 01:55 AM

can we compile a monthly report (e.g. traffic flow, location of user)
thanks

kkeezer 06-25-2008 04:00 AM

faisj 07-03-2008 06:44 PM

I am waiting for weeks now... are they still accepting sites?

mark|3 07-15-2008 03:27 AM

Hi, How do i go about exporting the overview data (e.g. daily visits,pageviews)
Thanks

Jonaid 07-15-2008 11:37 AM

This works really great. One problem I hit was I got my 10k page views in 4 hours and so I'm sitting here blind again! lol

Any chance of increasing the limit for vbull forums?
