drpeppper 04-04-2008 12:52 AM

I like the idea of this..

But it not allowing a URL IMG is a real downside. On my forums tons of members have there image Signatures link to a thread of there current WiP.

This this installed all it does is bring any URL IMG up in highslide.

very mod, but fixing the signature should be top of the list.

I need to uninstall =(

samet54 04-04-2008 05:45 AM

bunu yapabılen arkadaslara ıhtıyacım var ben yapamadım kodlar bozuluyor :(

Tom_S 04-04-2008 07:07 AM

Huh?

tazzarkin 04-08-2008 09:26 AM

After looking at the demo, I totally lost my train of thought and forgot what the Mod was for. I nominate Nicky for vbulletin GOTM as well.

As for the Mod, it does seem to have the limitation the guy spoke of two threads earlier. Will the signature be fixed in the future?

fsbmax 04-09-2008 08:08 PM

awesome mod, but its turning my signatures into clickable images aswell!

nice demo with the asian, ill give her a 8/10 ;)

Playa82 04-09-2008 08:13 PM

can somebody fix the errors ?

1. disable signatures as clickable images

2. When i click the linked images, i see highslide effect. Image doesnt fallow the Link

fsbmax 04-09-2008 10:55 PM

dude im in the same spot, why does it call the signature bit??? is there a way to vote not to install??? lol

nightbloom 04-12-2008 09:53 PM

I installed to check it out and it works lovely with images in the body of a post, but it also works on signatures and other small pictures that I do not wish it to work on.

It is too bad because it is such a good idea.

If it is further developed, I would be more than happy to try it again.

lolo? 04-16-2008 03:21 AM

the resize image dosent work for me on firefox
and all sigs are clicable now :S
uninstall

Hendrizius 04-16-2008 08:15 PM

Signatures need to be fixed. Thanks for this mod. And perhaps an option, to only include this features for x,x,x usergroups.

Uninstalled until signatures are fixed.

kevcj 04-17-2008 02:12 AM

This is freaking AWESOME!!!! Thank you.

Voted - MOTM

rapidphim 04-17-2008 03:00 AM

same here

Bad modification . :mad:

karim004 04-17-2008 08:35 PM

i stoped the signatures turnning into clickable images by creating a new bbc for images :
admincp---Custom BB Codes-- Add New BB Code
Quote:

title = photo
tag = ph
Replacement = <img src="{param}">
Exemple = [ph]xyz[/ph]
Button Image (Optional)= link to your image
upload this icon https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2008/10/10.gif to your server and change the red text with the full link
after that force your users to dont use the [img] tag in thier signatures :
go to admincp ---------usergroups------Usergroup Manager -----Signature Permissions :
Allow Image BB Code = select NO
and they will use the new bbc [ph] to publish thier signatures and you enjoy this nice mod just for your images

install :up:

Sounds good, but I have 200 000 members of which not all will change their Signature :P.

Works fine, see live demo - http://www.survivalistboards.com/showthread.php?t=11115

I installed RC3 - 3 days ago and this mod yesterday, everything is working fine.

========EDIT=========

Users with IE 7 are complaining that they get an error after the last image. The error is that it can not open the thread.

Here is a screen print of the image. My site is using VB 3.7 RC3.

BTW I am using 3.7.0 Beta 6 for now, but I am gonna upgrade once I get this working.

Same problem here - doesn't work on recent 3.7.x and a shame that the author seems to have deserted this mod :(

I have the same problem ! It is not xhtml validation ! see here

I think when this hack is the candidate of Month Hack ... the author should do some thing about it ! I agree it's the shame ....

upload a new class_bbcode.php to your include and import first the product then do the modification in class_bbcode.php

working for me...

This still hasn't fixed the bug that it tries to enlarge small pics...

rapidphim 04-21-2008 01:53 PM

I don't have an issue at all. Only issue is that if you replaced the codes in postbit_attachmentthumbnail, the attachement with built-in default highslide will not be working.
