It seems to be working for me, but I'm not sure about the config piece. Does this resolve the issue where it shows a ZERO on the forums page. Then, it shows as a googlebot when you click on it. If so, how do I go about it?

"NOTE: There is one file edit that I have not found a way to get around yet. It is a special template cache that must be used with this. The easiest way to do it is add the file edit to the includes/config.php. Since this file does not change as often, you should be fine on most upgrades. This is the ONLY file edit."

Yes, the config.php edit will fix that issue. Just add the config.php code above the bottom box (before the ?>).

Will this hack work for 3.6.7? Also, does it give a breakdown of the spiders, ie 6 Yahoo bots, 2 Googlebots, etc.

Sorry, but where do I do this adjustment to the code? In other words, how do I get to the point where I put that in? Admin CP and then what?

You need to FTP in to your config.php file and do it.

I'm in my FTP program and I see the config.php file. But, when I hit the 'edit' button nothing happens. Should it be opening with a specific program or something?

You need to use a text editor. How did you edit it to get your site up? That would be the same way you need to do it. ;)

My hosting company actually took care of the set up of my forum. Plus, vBulletin took care of the setup of my vBadvanced page.

So, I haven't done much aside from all of the hacks and adjustments since the initial setup. :)

Lucky me...until it comes to times like this. :(

Hey, Boofo! I installed this on my 3.7.0 RC3 forum, and it doesn't seem to work at all. I followed all the steps, and tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it 3 times. I edited the Config.php, as well.Could the coding have changed?

It's not showing on the Who's Online Box at all.

EDIT: Woops..It's working now. I edited a fresh copy of my config.php, and reuploaded. Now it works! Sorry for bothering you! You do great work!

What do I need to edit in the config file, I don't understand? at the moment it says 0 spiders even though there are several about, so I'm guessing I failed at the config stuff, can you explain it in more detail?
I'm sing 3.7.0 RC4

Hey, Is there anyone will to share the already edit plugin that contains more spiders? Also I've followed the guide correctly (I think) but when I check Currently Active Users: 36 (11 members, 25 guests and 0 spiders), but I check who's online and it says 8?

Not sure how you would do that for the Who's Online as this hack only touches the spider count on that page.
