Smilies selected from the More option don't seem to have the right path on the vBAdvanced CMPS Homepage... The initial few that appear under the window do have the right path though..
Where might I look to straighten that out? (Moving away from the CMPS Homepage, smilies that were selected using the more option appear correctly. Right clicking the red x on the CMPS page shows that the /Forums/ directory is absent from the path.) |

Just re-run the CPMS install. I think there is a link to fix smilies but not sure. Install is in the /admincp and labelled, or just look for the file name in the zip

Duh ;)
Ugh, you edited 400 of them? Individually? You could have just re-run the install and clicked 1 button. |
For some reason when I have it Anywhere really it is REALLY wide.. I for the life of me cannot figure out why this is happening on the vbadvanced page.
Any help, ideas? |
That is fixed...
NOW my question is how do I get it to appear on all of the "styles"? |
does it work on external php page on the server ?
I want to install it on my homepage that is running php but not part of the forum. |

Hello there - I had another mod do the same thing. It appeared to be referenced perfectly with the pages specific to CMPS but no matter, it still didn't prefix the URL properly. So... I know I'm not supposed to need to do it but, I located mgc_cb_evo_editor in all the styles I use and found the two links that reference full mode: Code:
<a href="mgc_cb_evo.php?$session[sessionurl]do=view_chatbox" target="_blank"><img class="inlineimg" id="mgc_cb_evo_fullmode" title="$vbphrase[mgc_cb_evo_fullmode]" src="$stylevar[imgdir_misc]/mgc_cb_evo/mgc_cb_evo_full.gif" alt="$vbphrase[mgc_cb_evo_fullmode]" border="0" /></a> Code:

Has anyone determined how to fix the continual "loading..." message? The Chatbox on the forum home page works fine, it's just this module that doesn't work. The thing is I've installed this on 2 other sites that were running 3.7.0 and I manually upgraded them to 3.7.1. On the site I'm currently working on is a automatic fresh install with the install script. I'm also using vba 3.0.1. I've double and triple checked all the settings according to the install instructions. Can anyone help me?
Thanks in advance, Jim |
So all the forums are 3.7.x, and running vbAdvanced 3.0.1?
If that's the case then it should work. You edit the advanced page stuff? |

Crap, I meant the display and position...
Admincp >> MGC Chatbox >> Display and position >> Display on defined pages in a variable set to Yes.. and in the Other pages list,, put adv_index in that box... |

And you run TalkPA? Looks pretty nice like the others. Found some threads in there I might signup for to reply to. |
According to vbAdvanced site, this is not an error from this. According to Vbulletin not one as well.
I think this is the chat itself. That 2nd error I've seen before. You are running 1.5 of the module right? Sounds like we might have to wait for VbDev to reply. |

As far as TalkPA, No. I only run TalkVirginia and Knights Vindication, however I'm helping with setup and administration of TalkMaryland and Friendship-Cafe. |
