I'm running a photos forum and was asking my members to post photos using the [ img ] bbcode. I'd like to display a photo (was using the first photo posted in the stamped post) for each stamped post on my FORUMHOME.

Hi,

Sorry, im a complete novice with VB .. i thought i had installed this but it doesnt work...

Could someone give me a complete breakdown on how to install this mod ... i only understand up to extracting the files .... i know how to use the FTP ... and thats about it

extracting the file
upload the file to there folders with the CHMOD are ( 755 )
import the XML FIles
give your mods the right to stamp if you want to allow them to stamp

that's it no more

i used it

its very nice but after one day

the error occur

when i give stamp or remove stamp from stamped thread

say to me

you have no permission

Make sure the uploaded files are CHMOD ( 755 )
and try agian ... and tell me if it work or not

1. i see nothing on forumhome(file is correct in the includes dir), i've made a templatechange because i thouth that was a error but no change:(

edit: ok now it is here but it jumps so strange, because there is just one thing, but i'll locate the error*g*
1.1=> Best THreads little error in the phrase best_threads ;)

2. my postbit looks funny

the next strange thing is that the text is now under the picture
that would be nice if you put the text into a div container who is so farmated that the text is not under the picture

1- u can search on the Xml file and edit it ( and reimport it agian )

2- you must have a topic with more than 7 lins

Works fine in vb 367PL1.But take note that if you placed the stamp at the top-right of that thread and it happens that there is Quote or Code tags there,the corner of the Stamp will be hidden by it.The stamp does not embed over it.:)

Hi

Thanks and installed, I wouls really like this so that all Mods and senior mods and admin for that matter, to be able to add a stamp no matter if the mod a forum or not, I would like it set so all staff can stamp and forum/section including admin ( i just stried as an admin to add a stamp to a thread, as i am not a specific mod for that forum i cannot add a stamp, NOT good :(

So, to sum up lol...
Please, is there a away i can set it so all staf can stamp anywhere please?

That way works 100% no problem, But me as an admin and not a moderator of any forum i cannot add a stamp as i am not a mod

I would like it globally enabled so all staff can stamp in any forum?

any admin by Default are allowed to stamp any where
and any mod have the right to stamp can stamp any where

Great. I have been using the Arabic version for a while now but came in here to find an English version for my other English forum. Thanks a lot. I am a little bit confused though about the 3 files. One of them is called "fixed" so if this is my first time installing which files do I need exactly?

I did that just now. (755) but still not being able to stamp. I am going to try the Arabic one I have because I can see the stamping option under moerators names and in user groups.

Can you also set the product as default all mods have the stamps set to yes?

It was set to yes at 1st, then i upgraded and not all are set to no :(
