I don't think your question relates to this addon. I would suggest you post it in the vbadvanced support thread. |
Does this stop guests from viewing threads from the archive?

Question for vbseo forums.
Does it matter if the navbar template edit goes above or below the welcome header edit at the bottom of the navbar? |
I have one weird situation going on.
No guest message shows up on the showthread pages when this hack is enabled until I reach the number of threads require to activate the "Register Take Over Message". Is this supposed to be happening? I verified this on my forum and this forum. |

I'd like to give this mod a shot, I find it interesting, however, I too have vB 3.6.4 so if you can update this, that would be fantastic!
|
I am running vB 3.6.4 with this mod and it works fine. I checked it myself. :p

Have you enabled the take over message? If so, how many pageviews does it require before it shows? |

It takes a few reloads but....

also, if you could remove or edit your attached image so that my domain and name information does not appear i would appreciate it. |

Be sure you have the variable $lgvmessage in your header or navbar template.
Also, the systems are designed such that if you have both hacks on, the welcome header message will not show on posts and since the register take over message appears in the same format as the welcome header message, it is easy to confuse the two. |

All this mod has done is improve my registrations from 4-6 per day, up to 12-16 per day. |

Like this, wherever you have your welcome header variable. $welcomeheaders $lgvmessage If you have that variable in place, and have this mod enbabled, you should be seeing the message come up in showthread after the number of views you specified in admincp. |
Thanks. I failed to follow step 3 in the instructions......
Working now. |
LOL, Dont worry, I did the same exact thing when I first installed it. :)
|
Thank you very much for this! :)
|
Thanks, great add-on,
BTW, nice instructions!!! because it matters, at least to the newbies. |
 Another nice addon that works just as it is described.
Easy to install and customize. |

I assume this is where it finds out if a person is a guest or not, but how would I add other usergroups to this as well as guests?
Code:
if ($show['guest'] AND !$lvgbot AND $vbulletin->options['lgvon']) |
Actually, that code just checks to see if the feature should be activated or not.
You can modify what groups see what messages in the welcome_headrs template. |
I think it really does improve registration rates
Ive been using it for quite some time now. Does seem to attract them I also have a yellow bar at the top, but this one gives the description Working perfect :) |
