Could this be modified to post banners between posts, I want one after the first post and one after the 5 th or 6th post. I use the advertisment banner mod but it wont display flash banners it displays them between posts.

I can see the banners when I go to Manage Banners under Quick Links but nothing appears on the index page when i leave the editor. Can anyone tell me what I am missing in the coding?

It would be perfect if we could choose two or more places where to show up the banners... I mean.. for example, I have 5 banners to show up, but i want to make the numbers 1,2 and 3 to show in the header, and the number 4 and 5 in the footer...

do you think you can make it?

Right now to show the banners we have to add the $cyb_flashimagebanners where we want to... you could use $cyb_flashimagebannersONE $cyb_flashimagebannersTWO and so on... is it possible to do?

I am searching for simple banner rotator in postbit second post without Google Adsense bul**** and etc. Just simple banner rotation. So I was hoping this mode will do trick. I had installed simple script for postbit second post.

I was installed this on 3.6.8 and everything is OK, "except" I cannot menage to show banners anywhere in any option. I want to put this in postbit second post, and just on that plaice, but I don't have error message and I don't have a banner there. Also tested with other options, without success?

Cyb, do you know reason for this? In "Menage Banners" area it seems everything is OK. I have uploaded files in images/banners folder and I see them there, but on the plaices where they must be, I don't see them, in forumhome or on any other page, with any option?

I have two options in that file, one for guests and one for members, either don't work? Before this I just put img url's on that plaice and it show me banners, of course without rotation or something like that. How can do this with your mod?

Has anyone figured out how to stop the "flickering" of the screen when your running your banners on active?

Only thing I have found that works is setting the Duration to 10000 is there anything else?

Hack looks great but I really need the ability to have multiple triggers like"So that I could designate what banners were shown where. Maybe have a comma delimited list in the ads settings in ADMINCP.

i have set up my banners and they show up okay but they are not link to the site when you click on them. also is i want to put them into the forum some where other then the top (left, center, right) which template would i use

I have the same problem.
I found that this mods create 2 empty strings for the banners. and this try to show a 2 empty gif. Maybe this causes the flickering

displays banners great when i click a banner the link doesnt work. just doesnt load. o.O

Installed it and it works pretty good for except two things

Links dont work on click and also I have a blank one that pops up. I only have 3 rotating and they load fine but where id the blank one coming from.

Has anyone been able to get this to work with VB Advanced?

works perfect - was a bit of flickering but its when it changes logo so i just set the timer higher to combat it and its fine now.

As in the instruction, I add this: $insert_cybfibr after this: $vbphrase[miscellaneous]</td></tr> , but the link won't work, returns with a 404 error.

Do you put the path to the banner on your local computer and this ftp's it for you, or do you have to ftp the file and give the path to whereever you put the file? ie: images/banners/xxxx

the hack works fine - all u have to do is upload your logos to the folder called Cyb which u make on your ftp.

Then u go into the banners option and add the correct url to the banner

make sure u aint enthered the code for where u want it displayed twice.
Ive installed this and it works fine.

i'm sure entered the code once.
it works fine with just 1 banner, the problem happens when there's more than 1 active banner.

i have 5 banners activated and it rotates between them every 60 secs and all work fine here.
You do have your banners set to Image and not flash dont you ?

Is there any way so log how many times a banner shows up?

I don't expect support, but maybe a reply...

I had this installed on my forum, yet the flickering was annoying. I used (.png) files as images, 468x60 banners...

The transparent background worked fine on the vb default skin, but not on a modified skin...

The flickering...even after adjusting duration...continued...on both skins...

Not to be disrespectful to any of the coders out there...I think the time and effort you put into these mods demands respect...the only problem with a lot of these mods...depending on the coder...is the turnaround time for support answers...

The problem with this mod, is that it may need to be rethought a little...maybe a preview feature before actually enabling the banner images.

Also...you'll need to fix the flickering...and give the Admins a way to customize these images on their modified skins...IMO.

I use a customized skin and do nothing special with banner graphic file types.... :)

I get no flashing and this mod works fine... ;)
