Yes i check and no file in /photos/thumbs

As last chance try to cmod 777 /vbhotornot directory . In Linux servers only the destination directory needs to be cmod. Maybe in windows servers needs all the directories below the script.

any way that i could use this with a slight modification to make the hot or not system work for top tracks? like instead of each user putting up a photo.....they upload or link to an uploaded track, much like the live music feature offered through the zoints hack......to vote hot or not......with top track and such....and instead of male or female, make it...... R&B or Hiphop?

Before Christmas I'm planing to release new versions for both vbPhotoVote (former vbHotOrNot) and vbMates (Dating module), with more features like:

1.- vbPhotoVote

• Double vote restriction
• Admin approval for photos
• ...and maybe more...

2.- vbMates

• Multiple search (Gender, Age, Location etc)
• Admin approval for profiles
• ...and maybe more...

The only difference is that new versions will have php code encrypted (but without any special server needs). Sorry, but I've been so disappointed seeing that 98% of you have you removed my copyright the only thing that I asked for exchange of my free offer.

Very Nice Add-on, really like it. Just got one problem though and I don't know whether anyone else as had this problem. When I try to upload a second photo I get a blank screen. Can you please help because this is really frustrating:confused:

There is a slight problem... For some reason in the usergroup manager when I try to change permissions, it does not give me an option relating to vbhotornot. It is almost as if it does not exist or vbulletin does not recognize it.

Most likely you didn't CHMOD all the directories.

Did you rebuild the bitfields ?

I rebuilt bitfields, but I still do not see the options :(

For those of you who're now in proccess of installing vbHotOrNot, my advice is to wait a couple of days till the release of the Free (Lite) version of vbPhotoVote. Even if it has not all the features of the commercial version, it has double features of vbHotOrnot. If you want to see a demo of vbPhotoVote :

Well I need help with the hotornot mod. When voting a pic I cant seem to get back the second picture, then I can "not rate this photo" then I will get a new one but then its right back to the second pics again after I vote the new one and i need to "not vote" until I get to the new pics...Does that make sense and have any ideas why its doing this.

I've left a support ticket with her on her board and she hasnt answered it either, and its been a week. I have no choice but to uninstall it. I even tried to buy the commercial product and got the run around on just answering a questions about it. What is really weird is that her site vbgreece.com but the site is down or moved or gone and it only has a redirect page saying to go to madebymary.com but then she said, I'm going to quote her words exactly. "For support visit my site http://www.vbGreece.com
and of course I've added a redirection to my new site. Sorry, but I can't play the roll of the ball in a ping-pong game moving around all the sites that I've post my modules." Are you kidding me? Ping pong ball, just update this site and everyone will have that one place to go for support? I'm done chasing her around the internet to find info on her product that doesn't work.

I know the product is free, and I've been very patient, I've started this from my first post which is dated above. I want to purchase the commercial product but again if I cant get answers for some concerns I have then it doesnt matter if its free or not. It doesnt work period.

I love the program and was thinking of buying the new photo vote when it comes out.
But not with this kind of delay on help and questions on this program here. Why waiste time and money on something we really dont have to have with in the first place if we can't get help on it when we need it? Plenty of other free mods that work fully. Love the program, and Do not get me wrong. She has responded to some of my pm's.
But I think she might need to hire some help if she can't keep up with the demand her product requires.
I uninstalled the hot or not this morning untilwe can get some of these questions answered. Sad too because my members like the mods.

I have wrote it many times... Read my posts before... There is no commercial version of this. There is a 100% different product. Nothing in common with this.

I have the same issue. A user can add the photos, but when you go through to rate you get stuck in a loop. The first image to rate comes up and you rate it, the second image comes up and you rate it, the second image comes up again and you rate it again, and again, over and over until finally choose "I dont want to vote for this photo" and then the third picture comes up and you vote, and the damn second picture comes up again.. grrr..

This would be a nice little free script for my small free community, but it does not function. Will this bug be fixed or are we going to be told to uninstall it and move on?
