Hello,

I'm trying to create subforums on my forum


The way the site is set up, I have forums that work as categories and other forum that act as sub-categories to these.

I have downloaded Cyb - Forumhome Sub-Forums Manager but somehow, I cant get it to work.

How do I go about this? Please assist

This works with sub-forums on forumhome and forumdisplay. As I can see on your site you have categories and forums only.

It was problem with your templates. Some codes was removed and sub-forums was not shown at all. Fixed now.

Any idea about this, some of the names of forums are long, so I put in &nbsp to keep the names together, but then when it's displayed, it puts the word after the   in the next cell.

See, here's United States, the first with no   in it and the 2nd with &nbsp in it. Any ideas?

Ahh, never mind, I used this instead :
& #160;
(REMOVE the space between & and #) and it worked great

For some reason Show thread count doesnt work on my forum.
I enabled it, changed the colors etc. but still doesnt work.

Nevermind, my mistake.
Some other hack ive been using was causing the problem.

Alright, I reinstalled my vBulletin and took away all of the other crap that I had on my board. Thank God I just started up a new board! Anyways, it is working fantastic now!

Yup, i used to have the same problem.
I used to have another hack for sub-forums, and it was giving me problems with this hack.
This hack is just what i needed for my forum.

I would like to know if its complicated to change this hack to a forumdisplay sub-forums manager. I use this, but I have a few subforums that have other forums acting just like links, so when I enter the parent forumhome_subforum I see all those sub-subforums one on top of each other instead of columns like your hack

Hi cyb .. I have already installed this hack .. but somehow I have the same problem too .. the forums still show up with the link .. I would love to have it where people will not be able to click on the forums that have subforums only ..

Thats a mod made by xenon, forums as columns, do a search. It's here somewhere.....

OK, everything seems to work fine in this mod, except for the fact that it doesn't put it in columns. Any ideas ? I set the subforum depth to 1. Check it out here. No matter what I do, I get one column, with the bullets. How do I ditch the bullets ?

I could not unstuff/unzip the download file using my Macintosh, however. (I get an error message.) I had to use my PC for this instead.

Minor question. I see that some people have made the font size smaller for their sub forum titles. How did you guys do that? (still learning things here)

I have tried to set the colums to 2 and used the &nbsp;

This works, BUT

It also adds a trailing _____ for each space indicitive of the underline :confused:

Any way to get ride of this?

I have noticed on the authers page or Demo that the main Forum is Not Clickable All Subs are, How dod you do this, I want the Parent locked like this
