howard007 10-28-2006 11:12 PM

I have just installed it. Some instructions as to how to use it would be awesome! Where do I go after it's setup in AdminCP?
Need docs.

MustangLisa 10-29-2006 01:17 PM

Installed, thanks!

In your AdminCP, go into "vBulletin Options" and it's probably the last one in the list. Called "Who has read a thread".

Thank you just installed and seems working very fine in 17000+ members forum.

but the question is :

is it possible to disapear usergroup like admin and moderator from the list of who has read a thread ?

Thank you again.

Paul M 12-04-2006 05:12 PM

No, that is not possible (other then if they are 'invisible', and the viewer is not allowed to see invisible members).

DannyMilner 12-04-2006 05:13 PM

Nice one! I think this should be on vbulletin when you install it.

Why there is a "space" before each ":" ?

Paul M 12-18-2006 03:15 PM

Because there is.

Hello Paul,

Would it be possible to improve your - great - hack in order to have an other feature which would allow to see who have read the thread since the last post were posted ?

There would be 'Who has read a Thread' and 'Who has read the thread since last post'.

Cheers.

Artificial_Alex 12-27-2006 12:31 AM

We just had to upload a backup..and now..I made a thread, and the second I did, it said 9 people viewed it, some of which weren't even on. :O Know what would cause it to fault like that?

Funnily enough I was looking at a way to do that, and have included it in the "View-All" display, which is now available at all times, not just when you have a cutoff set (ip display is now in that view only).

I few other internal changes have been made, I'm currently testing v3.35 for release later.

Quote:

Invalid Attachment specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator
On 2.nd Page all is ok, seems that the AttachmentID is different.
Anyway a very usefull Hack, Thx for this.

Yep, I read in your mind :D

But, there may be a slight bug because a new thread with one post has been read by three users in the same afternoon, but two of them are in View all, "Who Viewed This Thread", and the third is in "Last Post".
In fact, they all read this only post quite in the same time.

Is there something I did not understand ?

By the way, thank you for the improvement ;)

There are no bugs that I know of, and I did test it in a number of situations - I don't really understand what you just posted to answer you.
