installed, great share.
|
Please excuse the newb type question . I just upgraded from 3.0.0 to 3.6.8 and am kind of new to the module system . Since this is only an xml file mod , in VB admincp , do I create a new style for this fle or do I use the merge option ? If thats the case do I have to merge this into each new skin I have ? Just wanted to avoid a headache ,thank you .

Oh dear...no, no, no...you're in the wrong place, My Friend. You're in your Style Manager...:(
In your Admin CP, in the left side column, down near the bottom, go to Plugins & Products, Manage Products, then scroll to the bottom, Add/Import Product, then at the top you'll see Import Product. Click the Browse button, and find the product wherever you have it saved on your computer, then click Import...you should be done!:) |
See , Im glad I asked first ;)
Much appreciated ,thank you XJ Quote:

You're welcome! Glad to help!:) |
Will this work on the future VB 3.7 ?? or be updated?
Thanks |
Installed on 3.6.8PL2!

Where would I look so I could slightly modify this? On the line where it shows ' Total members that have posted on the forum today I want there to be a percentage that shows the percentage of people who have posted relative to how many visited on any particular day.
I think I posted about it before, but I didn't get an answer. |
You can't just do that as there is no count of how many visited in this mod.
|
But isn't the number derived elsewhere on the board where I could ask it to do a simple division problem?
|
Nope, default vb does not provide a visitors count.

However, it was showing as most users first thing the next morning, as "today" not "yesterday". Is this a bug, or is there a setting that I need to ensure that it resets the count at local time? |
Visitors ??
This is the posters modification :) As for the question - hard to say without seeing it happen, but I can't see how it would be wrong. |

Okay, please look at my board's statistics just so you know what I have installed for mods as far as the statistics go. http://www.s0lidgr0und.org/index.php In the statistics I have a box that shows me 'Total members that have visited the forum today: Y and I have another box that shows me Total members that have posted on the forum today: X. The numbers that are on the board as X or Y have to be derived somewhere because they're right there plain as day. My ultimate question in the whole thing is this: I want to make it so the board takes the number it derives for visitors posted and divide it by the number derived for total board visitors so I can have an obvious number illustrating the percentage of my members who visit the board in a day who actually post. I'm not a pro at this by any stretch of the imagination, but in my mind if the numbers can be generated however they're generated for the current mods I have in place why wouldn't they be able to be generated again and be included in a simple division problem? My apologies again for the apparent confusion I'm either experiencing or causing. |

Sorry mate. I'll post it in the correct thread. |
The one think I noticed today is that your friends are not showen with (+) sign in the list.
Imvisible users are showen with (*) sign but friends now. I think this one must be corrected with an option to disable this one. The same for |
great work. Really useful and well executed.
|
