Check the VBA forums, I'm sure they have a module that hooks into this.

AngieZ 09-23-2006 04:52 PM

Some of my members are having the issue that this mod is not showing up for them now. ???

bidouilleur 09-25-2006 06:09 PM

Hello Installed it on vb 3,6 with a custom style (not to well build seems)
Now it is showing but see attachment
any hint on how to get it wide instead half ?
I had to adapt other addons in the same way but they had a template in which i could do something.
thanks

Paul M 09-25-2006 06:37 PM

This uses the "Display_Visitors" template, edit as required.

bidouilleur 09-25-2006 07:01 PM

thanks, found how to fix it, showing nice all over now

ChrisBaktis 09-25-2006 09:40 PM

I hvae installed this hack - I have 3.6.1 - option is set to on - and I have the in the forumhome template yet nothing shows...im not sure what else can be wrong.

Paul M 09-25-2006 09:58 PM

Usergroup settings ?

Then there is no reason for it not to show.

The usual reason I have found in these cases is a broken plugin attached to the cache_templates hook, preventing the code from running. Without access to your boards plugins there is nothing else I can tell you. If you know what you are doing, then disable all other plugins on that hook (try the same for the other hook used - this is much less likely though, as it would probably show a visible error).

ChrisBaktis 09-26-2006 01:48 AM

Ok I found out the problem hack - the plugin that was installed for displaying Photopost pictures on the forumhome_start is preventing the Whos Online from working....

Is there something that I can look for to correct this?

This is the plugin that is causing the problem.

Code:

<plugins>
        <plugin active="1" product="vbulletin">

Photopost Feature Block

                <hookname>forumhome_complete</hookname>
                <phpcode>include('../gallery/inc_features.php');</phpcode>
        </plugin>
</plugins>

This is the plugin that is causing the problem.

The plugin posted is attached to forumhome_complete so I can't see how it would affect forumhome_start - plus, it just performs an include, I/we cannot see what's in that file.

From its format, that looks like a very old plugin as well, is it used ? does that file even exist still ?

ChrisBaktis 09-26-2006 02:42 AM

it most because the plugin worked and that picture block did show up.

gamerzindo 09-26-2006 10:16 AM

thankss... working,, nice

ChrisBaktis 09-26-2006 02:44 PM

The problem has been corrected.

Alien 09-27-2006 01:25 PM

It would seem the 'on a seperate page' add-on to this has to be updated to work with 4.32 as right now I get a blank page...

EvilHawk 09-27-2006 07:48 PM

WVT display on a seperate page (updated to version 4.32) ;)

Paul M 09-27-2006 08:01 PM

Link re-pointed. :)

Paul merge it please with the original hack, it's your work after all :up: , i had only added an if statement and two or three phrases, nothing else ...

Respect
Antonis

Paul M 09-28-2006 02:30 PM

Thanks. :)

However, as the original is something I use on various forums, I prefer to keep it seperate for now.

About those...

I was wondering how hard (ie, would you do it ;) ) it would be to have a setting that blocks certain usergroups, instead having to go through and add all of them I want to see this. Maybe?

Paul M 09-30-2006 07:35 PM

Set it to zero if you want all groups to be able to view.

I'm not going to change the way it works, as IMO, it's fine for the majority. :)

Yeah, it probably is... I just have a lot of groups, but only a few I wanted to block.

Thanks for looking at it. :D :D

Masiello 10-01-2006 06:54 PM

Yes...

DementedMindz 10-06-2006 06:03 PM

Paul quick question is there anyway to unlink the usernames? This way it just shows a list of who visited without the link to there profile?

Paul M 10-06-2006 06:26 PM

You would need to edit the plugin code to do that.

Ingmar 10-07-2006 08:00 AM

Simply brilliant! Thank you very much.
