This may be a strange question, but could you tell me what code i should use if i want to have a different image there instead of the flashing envelope when i dont have any new pm's.

CMPS v2.2.1 and vBulletin 3.6.5 - I used this on the welcome block on portal (Which is what my forum uses) Took me a minute to figure out where to put the code (since it's different from the forum's welcome block) but I got it and it works perfectly... If that doesn't get their attention (or mine *blush*) I don't know what will =0) Thanks a Bunch! Always -Bree

Works Fine Most of the issues are with the Blinking image and cookies ... If yours is not showing up try changing the name of the image and editing the script to point to it

yeah, i noticed it too the one he shared i guess has a limited continuous loop in place thus it only flashes for about 5-10mins [never really checked on the actual time]

here is one that will flash continuously until the # unread PM's ≠ 0

yes, it only shows if the person has an unread PM. I think you can test it by pm'ing yourself...

i have having issues putting this in ..i can go to both my links when i change paths just no image showing at all ? my forum is just normal path

nevermind ...wouldnt work on local machine but when i did it on the site it worked ..mine was in the header though ..but i love this ..cause i block pop-ups this is so much easier

Tried to install, but it just wouldn't work on 3.7.3. Unfortunate.

i got it working fine. ..i am running 3.7.3 ... if you want screen shot to prove i can or give you log in to my forum ....

it is just normal template mod that is easy enough ..just depends on what theme you have to put it there..if you need help i have an msn account

also just FYI ..check your default theme that vbulletin comes with ..if it shows up there then it is just your other theme having issue and you can move it where you dont want to cause an issue
