Ok folks, it's been out a few days now - any ideas for improvements?
These are the ones I'm considering. - If a spammer gets past the system give the mods the ability to use the inline moderation tools to add spam to the local blacklist. - Get with Jay Allen and figure out how to get the module to communicate it's findings back to the mt-blacklist main site. This could be tricky since MT-Blacklist itself is written in Perl. - Maybe implement a harvester that will watch coventried spammers and see if they try to use domains not in the blacklist. Any other ideas? |
Anda bump! :)

RC2 added - this update allows users to store the blacklist in the template engine instead of leaving it in an external textfile. It also removes the need to use FTP during the install, though that option is still viable as well.

GREAT JOB Michael! It literally took less then 2 minutes to install :surprised: I think I'm getting spoiled :speechless:

is this more effective than a hack that would disallow new users with less than x posts to submit a post using [url] tags, and is there such a hack yet?
