Why not compromise?

I agree, anything bigger starts looking somewhat ugly from a design perspective.

well im not wanting 150x150 or even 120x120 but just something bigger than what we have got now :)...which I think is 64x64

80x80 or 100x100 is decent, and they're not exactly that big anyway. So long as the file size limit doesn't increase dramatically, I can't see many problems occuring. :)

Well we're deciding that internally.

Personally i hate big avatars, so i would love to keep 64² but regarding the replies here, we may get to a compromise at 80²

80? = 6400 :D
