Edit the relevant section in the CMS file - it's easy to spot.

BTW - you do realise this is the "who is in the chat" thread, not the integration thread ;)

nice hack/s
*warning, I don't know coding* when I tried to import the .xml I get a vb error message saying invalid file specified. I tried to do it both from my computer and from ftp to the includes/xml folder and got the same message. I then opened the the add new plugin choice and put the information in there that I found in the .xml file, though it took a few times because I kept including too much of the information I guess. Like it only worked after I took off this stuff Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1" ?> Quote:

Sorry, but it's not my job to teach people how to install plugins - my hacks will assume you either already know, or are capable of finding out. Check out the forums "how to" section - esp this thread.

well maybe a link to that thread in the install would be nice.
I've installed several other plugins/hacks and I figured uploading the xml via plugin system would work. Since it seems there's several ways to do it why not specify which? and I never said it was your job or responsibility to do it, I was just making a suggestion which I figured would help other people who had a code deficiency like myself. anyways thanks for the hack. *edit* well according to that thread you linked to the way I first tried it (upload from pc/ftp to site) was the correct way, and that's the way that failed for me giving me the 'invalid file specified error'. |
