What is/was vbulletintemplates.com ? I can't remember ever visiting it.

Chris M 05-12-2005 07:49 PM

It was a site dedicated to the modification of vBulletin templates - Many members released template mods to improve the looks and/or layout of vBulletin pages :)

Oh.

Why not just have a templates forum here in the vb3 hacks area - you could rename the "Import Scripts" forum, I have never seen anything in that.

We did used to have a templates forum here, but all template modifications got moved to vBulletintemplates.com for whatever reason the Admins decided to move it...

vBt was an unoffical site for along time before it became offical, durring this time there was a template forum here. At the time there where a lot of active users posting template mods, many of them begin a 'templates only' version of hacks posted here. We had people like filburt1 turning out multiple modifications daily.

In the last 8 months (maybe longer) it has been rather dead on the posting side, we still got a lot of users but they mostly downloaded what they wanted and left :)

It was a bit sad, how when things weren't as active, most of our active posters just deserted the place. It made me quite angry at times, thinking me and brad, along with a few individuals were the only active posters left.

Life could have been given to it damn easily, it's just that many "people" only want to post on super active forums. Can you really blame them?

What i find weird is that vBulletin.com and vBulletin.org are still linking vBulletintemplates.com in there forumslist on the forumhome. Take that off already, it takes like 2 secs to hid a forum. :p lol

Good thing I had all the good mods from there already :-)
