I had been pondering that myself. Which do you think would be most appropriate for communicating with mutiple users?

I have gmail but I've never used it to email numerous people so I'm not sure if their "threaded" system would be confusing or not.

This is the first time I hear that this is to be used with multiple people.

I am writing a pretty comprehensive private threads product...I'll post it when I'm done. It is my first vBulletin module but so far it has been smooth sailing. My intent is to build a basic version to get it up quickly and test out the theory behind it and then extend it.

I hope to have something to post in a few days.

Yes, but that's easy to change.

So which way are you going to code it:

[1]No private messaging system, but ability to create private threads in a PM forum
[2]no private threads, but PMs arranged in threads, like in Gmail?

#2, most likely.

I like #1 better. With ability to attach files as in normal threads.

Any new news?
