Which version(s) of vB are supported?

I am looking at this but I don't think I will be an early adopter at that price. Maybe if it gets some good feedback from other users.

Regards,

Matt

i was trying to look for feedbacks online. it appears UA has been around since 2001 if not earlier. however, surprisingly there is very little information on it. there are only some short reviews from last year. besides that, there isn't anything at all!

it appears the install base of UA is either not very big or they are very quiet. perhaps the owner should consider setting up a user support forum. a user support forum is the best way to communicate and connect with current and potential customer, just look at vbulletin.com/org!

It looks like there is a forum in the Owner's section - it just isn't a public support forum :(

Welcome to the vbAuction Owner's Section. Through this section you will be able to access the latest versions, updates, and add-ons to vbAuction. You will also get access to support forums, extensive documentation and much more.

For those interested in the VB Trader you can find the new support forums at www.ozezyhosting.com .... the old support forums at www.petnshow.com

or www.everythingvb.com

PM me if you want more info

Sorry, I missed this question. Currently supported 3.0.1 and up. I will find out if there are plans to support earlier versions.

Hmmm vbtrader isnt finished yet (search function not working) and vbauction looks to still be in beta (the support forums are an interesting read, 2 people have posted and both cant get it to work). Out of the two though vbauction does look the better one, but with out a test site (and the pbjunkie site looking terrible in places) i am leaning towards vbtrader at the moment, but with everythingvb closed finding more out about it is proving hard

where does it look terrible in places? I know there's a few screen's where the color isn't perfect but that's my fault. I'm in the process of learning it and changing it so it reflects my skin.

Other than that, it has worked flawlessly.

pbjunkie, I am interested in this app, but can't stomach paying for it and having it not work out. I've been burned before. I bought a phpbb gallery script from this company called "Albinator", it was very invasive to my database and caused constant bizarre intermittent crashes. The support was a total nightmare to top things off, with them finally saying it's your system not our app. I eventually had to uninstall it and things went back to normal but I was out of pocket for the software as they offered "no refund".

You're going to have to show me more than one site running this before I cough up the cash, and I mean running it integrated with vb3 not as ultimate auction. How invasive is this script to my vb3 database? My site gets hammered with activity so if this script is dodgy then I can't go there. Also, i see it imports users from the db, but if it shares the same db as vbe why do you need to import users to it, and do you have to manually import all new accounts too?

thanks

You need to visit vbauction.com and contact the owner for answers to your questions.

does anyone else know of any other auction scripts for vbulletin besides the one that vbauction.com has to offer?
