A product is always improved, they are still releasing vB2's now :)
So it does not matter when you install a board, or upgrade, if you want it completely up2date or as secure as they get at the moment, you will have 2 upgrade. You do not have to upgrade to vB3 now if you do not want too. But remember vB2 wont be around forever once they focus on vB3. |

Well, this thread got me interested, so I made a backup of the current vb2, went thru all the upgrades (I was still running 2.2.1 (don't shoot me), pretty painless actually and my board is hacked to death. All told, including indexing, updating counters, etc, it took about 9 hours (34K members, 700K posts). There are some "gotta have" hacks I'm wating on before I can switch over.
