well.. i only put it in once lol, i deleted all the posts and posted twice, they show up 10 times...

You must have a table prefix. I'll fix it in a few minutes.

Ok, I updated the zip with a new shoutbox.php. Re-download the zip and use the new shoutbox.php. That should get rid of the error.

I ran the new query you posted in the first post of this thread but none of the shouts are showing up on the forumhome.

Make sure you edit the settings and turn on "Show Latest Shouts on Forum Home?" and set "Number of Forum Home Shouts?" to a non-zero positive number.
