i always try to upgrade to the newest versons, sometimes i just dont have the time. heh i wish someone was still doing upgrade hacks. :p

There are just too many changes to document. 2.2.6 to 2.2.8 has some major bug and security fixes.

Ive worked through most of the changes in the root folder, but I am sure there are some mistakes I have made...:(

Unfortunately, I cannot remember downloading vB 2.2.7 from the Members Area, so I couldnt do 2.2.6 to 2.2.7, then 2.2.7 to 2.2.8!:cry:

i recommend you to use araxis merge. is sort of expensive but worth every penny for a hacker.

i've decided so since 225 RC - non rc ;)
it really saves time if you have hacked boards ;)

Actually, I didn't wait, but upgrading from 2.2.8 RC to 2.2.8 only took me 5 minutes, because John in the 2.2.8 vB.com announcement specified exactly what changes were needed.
