In your AdminCP under "replacements"

it only lets me put in

the code to find,
and the code to insert??

Yep, so you put in the code to find as...

...and the code to insert as the number of the colour you want as the background of the box.

Then do another with...

...as the code to find and then the number of the colour you want as the colour of the text in the box (usually #000000 for black or #FFFFFF for white).

But you posted. "There is a way, it's not that hard also". So if you are not prepared to share it (fair enough). Why did you say that? To taunt people with your knowledge? To somehow say "I'm better than you because I know stuff you don't know?"

I have hacks on my board that I don't share with everybody, mostly because they lack a proper user interface etc. But I don't come onto the forum saying what I've done and then refuse to let anyone know how I've done it!

I had a try at doing it but the quote boxes wouldnt load the variables :(
