Would this media gallery be integrated with the CMS?
Will it be a CMS content type? Can we arrange the layout with the CMS? Can we add CMS widgets to the media gallery? Will new entries / comments show up in whats new?
Will it have reputation functionality?

A media gallery is a massive undertaking that should not be underestimated though.

To my understanding (so far) is that this new mod will have ALL the same features that Media Library has (and possibly more). Lancerforhire I'm sure will layout the specifics when we gather all the contributors.

I typically work using an escrow system for the security of both the client and myself, but this is not practical with fifteen people.

Looks good Lancerforhire. Thanks for sharing your work.

If you are interested, reply here, I will send you a PM and let you know where you can Paypal your contribution. You will only send your money once we have all the 15 people we need.

Any takers?

Please add my name to the list. I sent lancerforhire a pm a day or 2 ago but never got a response.

Hey that world map cms widget looks pretty cool. Is it like digitalpoint's world map or better?

I would rather pay dbtech the money to do this mod that way we can get integration with other mods, continued updating, new features, etc.

That’d be a lot better than just, “Let’s build the same application again and have someone manage who may stop at some later point and date."

DBtech has their hands full at all times, they have a bunch of projects going right now (like vbarcade) and I doubt they even have staff for this one now or in the near future. Besides if dbtech makes it they have to sell it afterwards therefore it will not cost us the low amount this new mod will costs us, it will probably be much much more.

And FYI I sent a request to the admin there asking for a custom mod (paid) a couple of weeks ago and I never even got a reply back. That leads me to believe they have their own plans and are not looking for custom scripts outside of their own.

It's not for sale unfortunately. Due to the size of the project and the costs involved in making it, I agreed to not redistribute the work.

Ok Folks, I put myself down twice, meaning I am willing to go in for 100, that leaves one spot left...Who is in? Lets get the ball rolling on this...

Upon further inspection that world map IS better.

Edit: LOL Someone said your map is racist.
