The [FADE] BB Code should always be the INNER most code:

[FADE]Example[/FADE]

If this doesn't work on 4.1.4's new editor there's not much else to do. I don't have 4.1.4 and doubt I ever will so I can't test it. If someone else with 4.1.4 wants to improve upon the code they are welcome to re-release an updated version.
