OK, this mod restores/reassigns posts from deleted users to a new user ID.
What if you don't kow the old username? All the posts from deleted users are attributed to "Guest", but Guest is not a username. I believe "Guest" is User ID 0 (?)... Can we have a from User ID option? |
I deleted a user by accident about a year ago before we upgraded to 4.0, the user set up his account again and I just gave him a big post count as he was quite active. Will this still work in restoring back his original posts because he is set as guest.

Eh
Is there something wrong with you, how are you meant to restore someone that you don't know? |
The original "Username"(s) is/are unknown... all posts are attributed to "Guest", which is not a username... I don't care what the original usernames are, I want all "Guest" posts (at this point) to be associated with a new username.

oh
Still think you're mental. |

I thought not. And my mental state is not the question here... What I'm trying to achieve has always been the question... I was directed to this mod from the vB forums by borbole... it turns out that this mod will not do what I want. |
