the exclude forum feature is great but can you make it so that you can add "included" forums instead? or maybe allow the user to choose. i've seem type of option in other mods before. that would really make it more user friendly for those that dont have many non-warez forums on there site

Sounds Great.
The requested feature "Include Forums" already included in the 'Ultimate' edition, but I'll include it as well in the 'Lite' edition in the upcoming release ;).

Is it possible to have this without the warez links and exchange them for sites like megavideo.com, stagevu.com, cinshare.com, divxstage.com, divxden.com, veehd.com and other streaming video sites like these? Could I submit sites to you for addition to the program?

Thanks

thank you doing that. once that "Include Forum" is there, you will have a very powerful and user friendly linkbot checker. i have tested this out and my staff are very pleased with it so far. seems to be working as described. one tip for user here...you need to add your usergroup IDs for the power users (for me it is all staff) or else this will not work properly

5 out of 5 and nominated as MOTM. great work PHPKD

Yes for sure.
The product didn't created originally for warez website, it's created as a general purpose product that can help every kind of websites.
Yes, you can suggest new hosts to be supported, we're looking forward to support as much & as many hosts as customers wish! Any suggestions are most welcomed & we'll work on it to make it available.

if a report summary thread is to be created i added my username as the author. but i forgot to add my usergroup ID in the powerful user field and when it ran, no report was posted and no dead threads were "punished" (moved). when i added my usergroup ID to the powerful user field and ran the cron task again, it worked fine

I also get no reports. the system does work as I set it to new posts. And no one could add to a thread until the dead links were removed.

But I get NO reports of that area that had the dead link in it!!

rmxs 02-07-2010 03:45 PM

Question
Is possible using this searching XX forums and if a thread have dead link moving to trash can?
I tried it via cron job but only checks the amound of threads that i have setup in setting..

No, the bot supposed to run perfectly regardless the "Powerful Usergroups" setting has values or not.
The "Powerful Usergroups" setting's function is to skip checking posts for those powerful users during posting/editing, that's all.
By the way, there's another bug confirmed today described HERE. It may be the reason of your problem. A fixed update will be released v.soon.

It already do so, but since the checking process is heavy & may cause a high load on the server with large number of posts, then the bot check posts in batches that you specify how many from the product's settings. Please if you mean something else, let me know.
