Problem in xml file. All names are in chineese.

I have vbcms 4.0 rc2 and it does not work. After importing as product I get ??????? as the title and on top of the admin cp I get a number of more ? marks. Then I get an 'add" at the bottom and clickin that gives me '

I did upload all the files in the proper location. ... What did i do wrong?
