Does this have any adverse affect on the performance of the forum?

I wonder abut this too. Most sites with Google analytics are pretty slow, because they need to connect to Google first.

This hack seems very helpful, so I would be interested to know if anyone has seen a decrease of site performance/speed after installing this.

I entered my login/pass correctly but it extracted my id as 0. I tried using the widget but it gave me the loading bar. I then tried to enter my id manually and tried the widget again, but got the same results.

Exactly the same thing here. I wonder if there is something in our analytics account setting cause this.

Could it be something with the sharing settings?

Regged my new site to GA and installed in a minute without any issues. Thankyou, rated and installed

Mine seems pretty buggy.

A single click on the tab and it flashes orange but does not open, no matter how long I wait. A second click and it opens, but just shows a progress bar for as long as I have the patience to watch it. Verified Analytics login manually, verified site id. Also, in the open stats window there's a drop-down menu next to the displayed date range - on vbseo.com clicking that displays a calendar, on my site clicking it takes me to mysite.com/forum/# - it's essentially a link to forumhome.

Had to disable it for now.

You can pick the usergroup's that you want to be able to see this modification.
