I hope I installed it properly. I performed all the subsequent edits from the readme and installed the xml.
I checked the options "Merge many RSS items to one post" and "Merge with old post" and forced the post to keep the old dateline. The initial sticky thread is created accordingly. A little issue: the title of the first entry doesn´t catch the markup - it´s always plain text. There is a double-entry to find furthermore. The second automatic entry with 6 items is always rejected by the database-system with the following error-message: MySQL Error : You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ' 1253460094, 'News was added', 'CNN corresponde' at line 8 Error Number : 1064 Maybe I edited the php-files not correctly? |

Question related to RRS feeds and VB. I use a Google news source, but the RSS stories each come with this line:
HTML Code:
<img alt="" height="1" width="1" /> |
I had to completely re-install this mod after upgrading to 3.8.3 PL1. After reinstalling, still works fine.

I still dont know what it does

metrika .. instead of creating a new thread for each rss post, it places the rss posts in to one thread
so if you have a subject thread called Life in Honk Kong and your rss feed is from Life in Hong Kong the posts will all be made in the Life in Honk Kong thread and not many different threads Hope this helps C |
