iPhone :)

Is the iPhone as good as they make out??? In the UK you can only get an iPhone from O2, which i don't really rate that much, does it have sat nav???

In the states is the iphone tied to any one service provider?

By now just AT&T carries service to an iPhone, but I have seen cracked iPhones for T-Mobile and in another countries I heard about prepaid use for an iPhone... but the services were thought for USA's lifestyle... I didn't say nothing wrong just that all functions are minded for the american day-a-day activities [Ooops I think I just mess up everything :p]

There's not a decent satnav, and I don't think there will be one for some time. The amount of data that is stored on satnav discs is dvd size, which'd leave you with very little capacity on the phone.

But it's NOT a satnav. It's a phone. If you can get over that, it's a superb piece of kit :) And I highly rate O2. Their support is very helpful, I get signal almost everywhere.

You can downgrade the firmware and unlock, but that's illegal and quite frankly I fail to see why anyone in the UK would do that. What you get for ?35 a month on the O2 contract is superb.
