Finally got this to work on my forum using a custom template.

Tested on Version 3.8.2 P2

In addition to the Reason... I also added the person who closed the thread along with the date. Works very well on my forum

I like this hack, however, would it be possible for it to replace the last post info of the thread with:
Thread Closed by Gaara (example)
Thread Bumping

Maybe a derivative version should be made of this hack, I like it. But it has too many bugs and template edits in it.

I seen that and I actually requested that. I was just looking to see how I can have yours styled like this one to where the closed reason appears right above the first post. :)

Is it possible to take the format of the closed thread reason, and try to configure ozzy's mod?

Or if it would be too difficult to make the changes, should it work?
