I need to try this, right?

Darkwaltz4 03-08-2008 09:14 PM

of course you do! everyone does!

cheat-master30 03-08-2008 09:33 PM

This still works with PHP 4, right?

Black Tiger 03-08-2008 09:42 PM

Yes it does. You'll love it!

Same problem with the credits not defined issue. Some users are having the error and some aren't. One person's problem went away after I fiddled around with her profile some but I didn't really change anything. The users that are having the problem can go to the site if they clear their cookies but then they get the error message when they log in.

FYI - I'm also still getting the message on vbcredits.com that you are doing the upgrade and that the new version is available on vb.org.

Never mind my question, installed and seemingly working great!

I have 1.4 rc1 running perfect on Beta 6 but when I try to upload rc2 the board shuts down with an SQL error.

Should I import the product XML first possibly?

Darkwaltz4 03-08-2008 11:15 PM

you should not be loading any forum pages during install, which is why those errors occur

in fact you are encouraged to close your board to avoid the same problem :D

its not really an error - just the xml hasnt run to apply what should be there when you ARE running the pages on a normal basis.

as for the valifields error - i think i have an idea on how to fix it :D will post in a bit (lots going on!!)

I had the board shut off at the time.

I think what i need to do possibly is return the bitfield to the original spec maybe??? I changed it to conform to the Beta series.
