F.S.A, If you did a Backup before the upgrade like your suppose to just go back to your previous vB version (hopefully it was vB 3.6.7 PL1) ... Then just go into the "vBulletin 3.6.8 Released" Thread over at vB.com and look at those files that have changed since the last version of vB. After you do that, upload those files to your Server via FTP and those files only. Then run install/upgrade.php and you should be fine. Make sure that before you overwrite any files via FTP that none of your Mods have any edits in any of those, if a certain Mod/Hack you have installed has an edit in any of those files, do the edit before overwriting it (ie: I had to add the iTrader Edits to member.php before uploading it since it was a file that changed from vB 3.6.7 PL1 to vB 3.6.8) ... If you do this, you will have everything fixed and will be good to go.
Also, DO NOT revert your templates on your Customized Styles. Go in and take a look at those that need changing. Compare the codes in them via the [View History] link and add/remove the code that needs to be changed, that way you can keep all the customizations and all the mods you had before ...
Its all pretty easy once you get the hang of it ... I really dont understand why people complain about upgrading, I know it might be time consuming, but its not really that hard and you dont have to loose anything you have added as long as your catious (or unless vB changed dramatically and a Mod needs to be ported over to the new version)
