Is there a way to add a list of forum ids to the options, so that it only prevents thread bumping in those forums ?
|
I'm in agreement with focus2, as I would want to use this mod in a "for sale" forum. I'd also want a n option that regardless of original poster or another poster - it will not be bumped up by a post until at least x number of time. So lets say i set it so forum 3 any posts posted in it can only be bumped up say once every 12 hours. But users can still have conversation.

Dimounted, I have gone ahead and added a list of comma seperated forums option to your hack. I hope you use the changes I made...

This hack doesn't work for me for some reason.

Dismounted...
Thanks for this mod... I haven't tested it yet, but hopefully it'll work. I have this one person on my forum that loves to bump their own thread...this person does it every day. It's starting to get on my nerves, so this mod will be a welcomed one. I'm currently running 3.6.8 PL2...I'll let ya know if I have any issues with it. Again...thanks so much! Update... This mod works great for the original author of the thread, but does not work on those who reply to the thread. Those who reply to the original thread can still post back to back. |

hi if you can please add/change some features in your mod
I need mod which will work like that: i set number of days until the thread will expire if there wont be any new replies to the thread within the number of days i set then the thread is expired. if someone will try to reply to this thread then he will receive an error message saying: "the thread is expired and you are not authorized to post here" and it doesn't matter if its the thread starter or anyone else, only if i exclude the usergroups then they will be able to reply. i hope you understood my purpose since my english isnt very good. |
The description that you provided is not the aim of this modification, and strays from its purpose. It would be an entirely different modification you need.

Does this work for 3.7.2 P1?
