The Google AdSense team is quite helpful and informative. You're free to set your site up however you like and then request a 'site check', where someone from Google will verify ad placement and let you know if you're in violation of the TOS or not. They will then give you a time frame (usually 30 days) to comply or risk removal from the AdSense program.

I've been using placement similar to this for almost 2 years, and I've had at least half a dozen 'site checks' performed. Each time I've been within Google's TOS. Stop assuming. Start reading.

Here is another example of google showing you how to add ads to your blog or post by blending into it.

Once I get my site transitioned over I will be looking at this mod as a possable ad solution. Thanks for posting it.

Thank you

I doubt it is. If you have to "look hard to notice them in the forum list" that can be considered as tricking users into clicking which isn't what google wants.

eXtremeTim 10-25-2006 06:04 PM

Google even has tutiorials for blending the ads into a site.

magnus 10-25-2006 06:19 PM

Why don't people read all the replies before replying to a post on the first page of a 3 page thread? /sigh

Queball_Beast 10-25-2006 06:47 PM

I posted this link because I was looking for info at google forums, even google tells you to blend your ads into your site for best results.

Ok this should settle Everything.
I contact google and requested a "site check" I have the forum listads installed and had google look at everything, and this is what they had to say.

spelletjes of forumdiscussies. Bovendien mogen uitgevers specifieke
