Haha.

If you want to see what I've done: http://forum.fordpower.ca (FYI: I still have to give you your "layout by" credit before the look is done)

Anyway, back to what I was talking about earlier:
Hmmm.... well the only mods I've installed are psiStats and the code the separates stickies from regular threads. Both are now uninstalled and I'm still having issues....... I'll pick through it some more though and see what I can come up with.

Good job but yes you would probably have saved much time by using the blue version :)
As for the drop down menus problem, I still have no clue as the installed mods shouldn't change anything or make a conflict with the skin.

mktrilogy, thanks for your post :) yes you can open the header and footer templates and search for the Google code and remove it and this won't affect the skin in anyway.

it's coded into the header and footer. You can just go into the templates and remove it

Oh sorry man, I somehow didn't see your last post (it's been a crazy and stupid day here at work so far). I was replying to mktrilogy's question:

Anyway, I'll keep looking and see what I can find, but thanks for your time. It's appreciated. I'll let you know if I figure it out.

WOOT!.... OK, it figures that it was something so retardedly simple, but that's usually the way these things are.

Anyway, when I was recoding the footer, I removed this from the very very bottom of the footer code:
Code:

<script type="text/javascript">
<!--
        // Main vBulletin Javascript Initialization
        vBulletin_init();
//-->
</script>

Lesson be learned.... DON'T MOVE OR REMOVE THIS :p
hehe... oops!

Anu idea what's going on here? The tables seem to be messed up, I though it was just on the previous style I installed but the same thing is happening on this one.
See screenshot below. Hope someone can help cos it is really annoying.

egtrix 03-25-2007 08:28 PM

If both styles mess up when installed to your forum, then there is a plugin or a template modification that you have installed as well and it's not compatable with the style, so please provide a URL and let me know if you have done any template changes lately.

Hi, thanks for the quick reply. The theme I was using was working fine, it only messed up when installing a new theme which I've since deleted. I haven't edited any templates manually , I've installed some hacks which didn't effect the forum index.

Subforums are looking ok though. This has really got me stumped.

my URL is http://www.misc-world.com/endeavour

You are welcome :) What are the values for your forum and sub forum depth?
