Dear RS_Jelle,

Firstly I wanted to thank you for such a wonderful mod which I have been using for quite some time now. It has definitely made life so very much easier.

Secondly, is there any chance that you would be updating this mod for vBulletin 4? Will this current version be compatible with it? I'm sure many other people would be interested to know a bit about the future of this awesome mod. :)

If the file IS on the server in the downloads (maybe you changed the name?) directory, then check the file/folder permissions (chmod, chown) etc.

It will certainly need update as the vB style system changes for example. But as vB 4 isn't released yet, I can't say a lot about that :)

Solved it.

In case anyone else has this issue, open up /includes/xml/cpnav_ecdownloads.xml

find this on line 3:

PHP Code:

<navgroup text="Downloads" hr="true" displayorder="15"

and change the display order number to something other than 15 (16 worked for me).

Trying the mod out now, will mark as installed and rate when done ;)

Thanks for the reply.

No, nothing has changed and nothing wrong with the directory as all uploads work and are downloadable.... just can't view images....

Any idea?

DownloadsII 5.1.1 Changelog

Jelle
  • Fixed bug with download log pruning (name of the hook location changed)

Probably a dumb question, if I update, will it mess with downloads already added to the system?

I have a strange problem now. After my host changed the webserver where my hosting is on. Since then i get: ERROR: File not found

While the files are there, it simply uploads. But when people or myself want to download it. I get that error. With megauploads no problems(http links) but this is really strange. Any help? Never had problems before. And chmod is 777

Hello.
I have a problem or doubt when I have a file in moderation queue.
When a user have the link of this file (if file is in moderation queue not appears in list of downloads), well, when a user have the link of this file, if the user go to download this file, not appears the $vbphrase[ecdownloads_file_in_purgatory] (This file is in the moderation queue).

Appears other phrase of product vbulletin (not privileges for edit...).

I have any value bad configured?

Thanks and regards!
